We all love superheroes (and if you've read my other list you know i do), but we all love to argue who's the best even more. For this list I'm going to say right off the bat that Superman (and any one that shares his powers like Supergirl) is probably (even though I hate it) the most powerful superhero in the DC universe. But I'm going to do this list without him because he's stupid strong. (Batman isn't on here because I think he could beat everyone in the DCU).

#10 Hawkman

Seems like a nice guy
Seems like a nice guy

Once a Prince of Egypt, now a cursed Thanagarian warrior. A man who's lived a thousand lives over the centuries with his love Hawkgirl, doomed to love each other for eternity waiting for the other to die so they can be reborn together. With wings that give him great speed and agility, powered by Thanagarian Nth metal. The Nth metal also grants him superhuman strength. Because of his past lives, and centuries of being a warrior Hawkman is trained well with many different weapons (Mostly archaic), perhaps his most well known is his mace as seen above.

#9 Doctor Fate (Kent Nelson)

Lord of Order
Lord of Order

Kent Nelson, the son of an archeologist, found Nabu a Lord of Order who gave Kent extraordinary power and knowledge. He gave Kent a Helmet, Amulet and Cloak become the champion of good Doctor Fate, to fight against the Lords of Chaos. Though Kent has to have the Helmet on to be Doctor Fate, Kent (Nabu) is one of those powerful magic wielders in the DCU. His magical abilities are vast and do too many things too write down.

#8 Zatanna Zatara

Real Magician
Real Magician

Daughter of Giovanni Zatara, a powerful magician that has power if you say the words backwards. And said to be one of the most powerful JLA members (superman even agreed). Os ereht rewop si ylno sa doog sa ereht ytiliba oot kaeps sdrawkcab. If they practice enough, and speak backwards enough where it is practically a second language. Also she is a vegetarian, and lives in her father's mansion Shadowcrest which never is one locale for a long period of time.

#7 Captain Atom

Living Energy
Living Energy

Nathaniel Adam after volunteering for an experiment involving dimensional transfer, Nathaniel was atomized. After returning, the scientist that were involved found that he was completely an energy-based life form. Now always needing to wear the suit that you see him wearing in every comic he is in. His ability to manipulate energy is endless, but if he has to much then he can explode. Recently in the New 52 the Justice League has rejected his attempts to get into the League do to how dangerous he could be.

#6 Shazam

God
God

Billy Batson a 12 year old kid given the power of the gods. S-Wisdom of Solomon, H-Strength of Hercules, A-Stamina of Atlas, Z-Power of Zeus, A-Agility of Achilles, M-Speed of Mercury. With strength and power rivaling that of Superman, and having the power through magic gives him an edge against the man of steel since he is vulnerable against magic (yes, kryptonite is not his only weakness). At first the Justice League and heroes alike were skeptical about Billy since he is only 12 but soon learned that he could obviously take care of himself.

#5 Wonder Woman

Amazonian Warrior
Amazonian Warrior

Dianna, daughter of Hippolyta and Zeus and Princess to the Amazons. Currently dating Superman and still a founding member of the Justice League, Dianna can hold her own against any member of the team and against anyone who opposes her. With her strength, cunning, agility, durability, arm bracers, and lasso of truth, she is a fierce warrior. And in case you didn't know this, Dianna is 23 years old.

#4 Aquaman

King of Atlantis
King of Atlantis

Arthur Curry, half-human half-Atlantean, and King of Atlantis. Though being laughed at for his yellow and green suit ever since Super Friends and ability to talk to aquatic life (people seem to forget that aquatic life can be deadly). He can breath under water, lift 100 tons, durability, super jump, enhanced senses, super speed and reflexes, and punch someone on the ocean floor (there is a unlimited amount of pressure on him, think how hard it is to run in water). And after he gets his hand cut off, he has some limited ability with magic. The Trident of Neptune is Aquaman's trident, gives the wielder great power and the divine right to rule the seven seas.

#3 Flash (Wally West)

Fastest Man Alive
Fastest Man Alive

Jay Garrick, Barry Allen, Wally West, Bart Allen the list goes on and on. The fastest? Wally West. Seemingly able to go--a number I don't want to type out--faster than the speed of light, time travel, gain super strength through his speed, able to speed up his mind as well, extremely fast healing and able phase himself through objects. A founding member of the Justice League and a big hero in his home town of Central City. (If I could have any powers it would be his).

#2 Green Lantern (Hal Jordan)

Hal Jordan, Kyle Rayner, John Stewart, and Guy Gardner have all been famous green lanterns from earth. But the first Green Lantern from Earth Hal Jordan, a test pilot for Ferris Air is no doubt the best. After becoming the greatest Green Lantern, he founded the Justice League and still managed to save the galaxy. With his green power ring that feeds off his will to survive and do whats right Hal is only as strong as his will to be a hero, and there is nothing stronger. (He's even been Spectre, a being with nigh-unlimited power trying to eradicate the galaxy of evil men).

#1 Martian Manhunter

Last surviving Martian
Last surviving Martian

J'onn J'onzz, super strength, invulnerability, flight, super speed, stamina, regeneration, shape shifting, Intangibility, invisibility, telepathy, psionic blasts from his eyes and hands, psionic shield, Martian Vision (think Superman's heat vision), Telekinesis, Martian Breath (huge lung capacity), sonic scream, x-ray vision, extrasensory input and longevity. Personally I think J'onn is more powerful than Superman, with his only weakness being fire and he has grown practically immune to it with so much exposure to it (his body is still immune to fire, only his mind is affected when fire is near him). And actually 'Manhunter' is a kind of police force of sorts on Mars. He is the last surviving Martian, there is a reason for that.
