Even after his untimely death in 2013, Paul Walker's legacy continues to inspire and help those who need it most.
Paul's brother Cody Walker was at a fundraising event for Reach Out Worldwide, a disaster relief organization that Paul formed after 2010's earthquakes in Haiti, and he opened up about his late brother's unyielding generosity.
Speaking to People, Cody got emotional when it came to just how much Paul loved to give:
Aside from acting, his daughter and ROWW were the most important things in his life, hands down. He was very proud of ROWW and the incredible people he had surrounded himself to make up that team. I'm just doing the best that I can to keep his vision consistent.
Cody has taken up the role of brand manager in Paul's absence, and he's not the only one taking up Paul's philanthropic streak. Tyrese Gibson and Michelle Rodriguez surprised everyone with their appearances at the event, which ended up raising $100,000 for a good cause.
Continuing to speak about how much he looked up to his older brother, Cody admitted that Paul never wanted "any recognition" for his humanitarian work and actively kept it under the radar. That humility is especially impressive when you realize that Paul pretty much paid for everything himself as the sole contributor.
Since his passing, the outpouring of support has helped the organization to stay open, and Cody says that it's really made him understand how much Paul was loved.
In the end, it's a small amount of solace to know that Paul's good work is still alive and well even after he's gone.
