One of the most anticipated movies of the summer, Jurassic World, has released a new TV spot, and it's thrown us some more info on the devious raptors that can be seen clawing their way around the park. Check it out:
At the very beginning of the spot, Chris Pratt's voice is heard narrating, giving names to each of the raptors in his care. Pratt's character, Owen Grady, is a Velociraptor researcher and trainer on Isla Nublar. The raptor's names are Charlie, Echo, and Blue, and we also know there's a fourth one named Delta (although she isn't named in this spot). It remains to be seen whether or not these tricky raptors will be friends or foes when all hell breaks loose and the infamous Indominus Rex goes on her murderous rampage.
In the spot, when Owen's asked, "Who's the Alpha?" he confidently says, "You're lookin' at him, kid." We'll see if he really is, but I doubt Lex and Tim would be quite convinced as he is:
Check out the Jurassic World plot synopsis:
The story unfolds 22 years after the events of "Jurassic Park," in a fully functional resort on Isla Nublar that sees more than 20,000 visitors a day. Guests arrive by boat from Costa Rica, and the new park includes a biological preserve, a safari, a zoo, and a theme park type setting. The island also contains a luxury resort with hotels, restaurants, nightlife, and golf. And, of course, unprecedented up-close access to real, living dinosaurs - the full execution of John Hammond's dream. But humanity's continuing efforts to dominate nature generate unexpected, and dangerous, results.
Jurassic World hits theaters June 12, 2015.
