HyperDimension Neptunia Producing Perfection is the latest in the Hyper Neptunia franchise to be released on PlayStation Vita, the game consists of one true aim, that is to get your character to the top of Gamindustri's charts! You will have a selection of characters to choose from, each with their own type of personality, but the game never really outlines them too well. As you progress through the first 20 minutes of the game, you will mostly encounter a constant stream of text voiced well, but boring to listen to and read.

Once that text is over though, the game shows how you can perfectly succeed by giving you the most minimal experience ever. The game consists of virtually no gameplay whatsoever and should have been published as a visual novel as this game by far surpasses the amount of text you can fit into any game with nothing to break up the pace by miles.

The gameplay sequences, see you push the touch screen a few times, pinch the rear touch pad and press either triangle, cross or square, oh and you can move your camera around your character too but don't expect to be able to move your character.

Everything else that the character does is programmed from the movements to the singing to all the boring choices that are so linear and dull that having the option to choose between a strand of hair or a decaying piece of fluff would have made it exciting!

The story is also terrible too!

There isn't too much I can say for this game as it is a complete disaster consisting of a 300 page book of text and the odd interactive so called gameplay moment. It's dull, boring and tiresome to play, even for children.

The only thing this game has going for it is the art style and i certainly would not recommend purchasing it for that. Do yourself a favor and give this game a miss, there are plenty of other Anime titles that will surely suit your needs more like BLAZBLUE Chrono Phantasma.
