My last post was regarding The Flash, so I decided to predict for Daredevil, which is amazing and is perfect on Netflix. What is next for The Man Without Fear?
(Warning: MAJOR Spoilers for Marvel's Daredevil)
The Red Costume
By the season finale, Matt Murdock got his iconic Daredevil suit from the comics and used to defeat Wilson Fisk. Along with the suit, we got some Billy Club action and the horns. I definitely think Daredevil will evolve in his fighting style and suit, so maybe we'll see something close to the armored Daredevil from the comics.
We can all admit that Bullseye was the stupidest thing about the Daredevil movie from 2003, and we want to see justice done to the character. I think they can introduce him as an assassin who is hired by Vanessa to break Wilson out of prison. Daredevil manages to stop him after a difficult fight, and Bullseye decides to end Daredevil once and for all. And please, no stupid... Whatever that thing is on his forehead. Or earrings, or necklaces.... Maybe just forget he ever existed, please?
Owl and Stiltman
The funny thing is, we've already met Stiltman in Daredevil. Remember Turk Barret, he's the Stiltman. I can see Melvin Potter building the legs for Barret in for revenge against Daredevil. Barret would probably be a villain that isn't as serious, probably uses lots of puns. About the Owl, we already saw Leland Owlsley get thrown to his death by Fisk, so how could the Owl be coming to Daredevil? Leland did mention his son quite a few times, so he could furious at Fisk for his fathers death. Owl is an original enemy of Daredevil and Spider-Man, definitely a villain that needs to appear on the show.
Jennifer Walters, Spider-Man, and Punisher
If recent rumors are believed, than Asa Butterfield is Spider-Man for the MCU. After [Captain America: Civil War](tag:994409), Spider-Man will get his solo outing in 2017. I think that Spider-Man is a major player in Marvel, and he could appear with Daredevil to boost his popularity. The two often work together in the comics, so it could work on Netflix as well.
Jennifer Walters is She-Hulk in the comics, a superhero lawyer. My idea is to introduce her just as a lawyer in Daredevil, no green skin or strength, just the lawyer. After a few episodes starring her, the show could easily show an accident where Walters was involved, and leave her out until she gets her own series. (Kind of like how Arrow set up Flash)
Punisher would be a perfect anti-hero to bring into the series, he's the perfect character to bring to such a gritty show. An anti-hero who kills off criminals and leaves them lying around. Daredevil would skyrocket even more with the addition of such a popular character.
Elektra and The Chaste
At the end of the episode titled "Stick" we see Scott Glen's character interacting with a mysterious man. This is believed to be Stone, Stick's mentor and member of the Chaste. Basically a group of assassins, which includes Elektra. Elektra is Daredevil's partner and friend, and she was already referenced in the episode with Foggy and Matt flashbacks. Her and the Chaste could arrive in Hell's Kitchen to battle the Hand Clan. Nobu was a part of them, and he was burned alive in the same episode he wore the trademark ninja suit. Furious at the death of their own, the Hand would come to end Hell's Kitchen.
Addition Into the MCU
After a second season and the Defenders, Matt and friends should hit the big screen in my opinion. Daredevil is a great character with a currently great actor. If he makes an appearance with The Avengers or even as a cameo in Civil War, I'll be beyond happy. I see Murdock in Civil War during the end of the movie representing some captured heroes against the government, a role which could also be filled by She-Hulk. Well, what do you think?
