All of us are familiar with the MCU by now and it's connected universe. However, there are quite a few moments in this franchise that still need to be answered. Here are 10 of the biggest mysteries that we need to know.

10. Who is The Real Mandarin?

Not that one...
Not that one...

I was pretty bummed out with Ironman 3 and their version of the Mandarin. First he was an actor, then he was some misunderstood scientist that could breath fire. However, when I saw Marvel's one shot All Hail The King, I was relieved that there was in fact a real Mandarin out there. The only question is, will we ever see him? Ironman doesn't have any fourth movie planned, and his next appearances are Cap 3 and Avengers 3. The Mandarin is a great villain with real potential, with him Ironman could've been more than just technology and robot men blowing up. (Really, I've noticed that all three main villains blew up.)

9. Who is Star-Lords Father?

My dad is an alien?
My dad is an alien?

At the end of Guardians of the Galaxy, we learned that Peter Quills father is something ancient and alien, but who could it be? We know it isn't J'Son from the comics because the director confirmed it. This is something we desperately need to know, because if Star-Lord can hold an Infinity Stone in his bare hands like that, then he and his pops could be very important in Infinity War.

8. What's Up With The Other?

You mean, I'm not important?
You mean, I'm not important?

The Other was a mysterious character with lots of potential. Until Ronan decided to kill him by turning his head backwards. What bugs me about that death is that we didn't even know who he was. He could've been a very important part in Infinity Wars, maybe serving as the messenger for Thanos. Marvel definitely needs to explore who he was and what he could've been. Oh well, Ronan definitely needs anger management.

7. Where were The Other Avengers During The Convergence? Or The Battle of SHIELD?

All of those guys could've helped out...
All of those guys could've helped out...

In Thor 2, Malekith and Thor duked it out in London. Also, their were Dark Elves everywhere and a scary looking elf dropship thing. My question is, couldn't Ironman or Captain America popped over to help out there fellow friend? Or when three SHIELD Helicarriers went crashing down in Washington, Hulk could've easily popped over and done some smashing. Marvel better have a good explanation for all of that...

6. Likewise, where was Falcon during The Battle of Sokovia?

Definitely not on Cap's left
Definitely not on Cap's left

During the final battle against Ultron, SHIELD and the new Helicarrier showed up and so did War Machine. They helped out and War Machine was recruited to be an Avenger towards the end of the film. What about Falcon? You may argue that he was looking for Winter Soldier, but then again he was also recruited at the end of the movie. Maybe he was doing paperwork for the New Avengers office, or finding Cap an apartment in Brooklyn.

5. How did SHIELD build that Helicarrier so Fast?

I'll ever tell...
I'll ever tell...

Nick Fury and friends showed up to help the Avengers with a new Helicarrier, but how did they make it so fast? That thing is massive, and we saw Nick Fury only an hour before the battle started. Did they have spare one sitting around? I definitely want to know the secret behind that move.

4. What Happened to Samuel Sterns?

But, I'm so cool in the comics...
But, I'm so cool in the comics...

At the end of Incredible Hulk, some of Banner's blood dropped into an open gash in Sterns head. The head got bigger and Sterns gave that wicked smile you see in the picture above. In the comics, Sterns is the Leader, a villain with a big head that has super intelligence. Sadly, this wasn't explored, in fact, Sterns was never heard again in the MCU. Where did he go? What happened to him? Did he become the Leader?

3. Is Odin Dead?

They wouldn't kill me off, would they?
They wouldn't kill me off, would they?

Thor 2 ended on a sinister note as it was revealed that Loki had survived his previous skirmish with Kurse and is now posing as Odin. Basically he rules Asgrad now and nobody even knows. What became of the real Odin though? Did Loki kill him like he killed his real father?

2. Where did Thanos Get His Infinity Gauntlet From?

Not where it was in Age of Ultron
Not where it was in Age of Ultron

Thanos was seen taking out his Infinity Gauntlet and claiming that he would do it himself. It meaning collect the Infinity Stones and kill the universe of course. Where was it located though? He took from some kind of vault, and from what we've seen, Thanos is always floating in space on a chair. The vault opened kind of like the Destroyer gate opened in Thor, so maybe he's grabbing it from there because it was seen in Thor?

1. Adam Warlock?

Is he free?
Is he free?

We saw Adam Warlocks cocoon in GotG and in the credits for Thor 2. The difference is that in GotG it was seen open after Collector's museum was blown to bits. Is he out there right now? When will will see him next? Or is this just an Easter Egg?
