James Kakalios is an experimental physicist who is also a huge comic book fan. He knows just as much about the history of the X-Men and the Justice League as he does about how to calculate energy and velocity. He is certainly one of the most brilliant, and hilarious, physics professors I have ever come into contact with, and his lectures on the physics of some of your favorite superheroes is entertaining, even to someone with little to no interest in physics or science. The following video is a lecture by Dr. Kakalios, which was given in 2008. It runs a little over an hour, but it is well worth the watch. Enjoy!
