It has already been confirmed that the Flash will be played by Ezra Miller on the big screen in 2017. The thing is...we already have a Flash. It may not be a cinematic Flash, but It'll definitely put a competition for the DC Cinematic Universe. The Justice League Part One is set to be released in 2017, but in the mean time The CW will be coming out with new amazing story-lines for the Flash and may create a Justice League of their own. Next year in 2016, DC will be introducing new superheroes on-screen for the first time in [Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice](tag:711870). The CW has already released two shows based off of DC characters and has shown fans a first look at some modernized superheroes today with "The Flash" and "Arrow". Soon they will be coming out with "Legends of Tomorrow".

Can Ezra Miller Top This Dramatic Flash Scene?

Grant Gustin has been putting on an amazing performance as Barry Allen and has shown us probably one of the most dramatic, and craziest T.V show scenes this year in The Flash's season finale. When the Flash decides to travel back in time to save his mother from the Reverse Flash, but is stopped by his future self. The scene left fan's eyes filled with tears as he has a chance to say one final goodbye to his mother. The whole season has been based off of Barry Allen getting justice for his father and making the Reverse Flash pay for what he has done. When he gets that second chance, he just couldn't do it. If he saves his mother, the cause of events would change...everything.

What About The Easter Eggs?

"The Flash" has been delivering a tremendous amount of easter eggs and references that have been making fans hungry for more! In the season finale we see a first look at Killer Frost and an awesome reference to the golden age Flash, Jay Garrick! The cliffhanger at the end with Captain Cold, Hawkgirl, and Barry Allen running into the wormhole sets up a lot of what's going to happen in season two. The Flash's executive producer Andrew Kreisberg has confirmed that the entire first season of the show is an alternate timeline since Eobard Thawne went back in time and killed Barry's mom in the first place. So there is a possibility that fans will see the correct timeline it was meant to be.

How Did Ezra Miller Get Picked?

This young actor who is only 22 years old that has starred in films such as The Perks of Being a Wallflower, We Need to Talk About Kevin actor, and The Stanford Prison Experiment, said that he was hanging out in a remote, landlocked town in the middle of Costa Rica, when his phone rang:

[My agent] says, ‘I have Zack Snyder on the phone, and he wants to talk to you about this DC Universe thing". And so [Snyder] got on the phone, and he’s just gung ho. He’s in it. He’s completely involved. And he starts talking about how I’m going to play The Flash. And I was just in this state of shock and disbelief.

The Flash is set to have his own movie in 2018, but will make a appearance in Justice League: Part One which is set to be released in 2017. There may also be a small cameo in Batman V.S Superman: Dawn of Justice next year!

Who Will Be The Fastest?

Grant Gustin's Flash is fast enough to travel back in time, but what does that mean for Ezra Miller? Will he be fast enough to catch up and put up a competition with Grant Gustin on-screen? Nothing has been released for how the new Flash will look, so fans will just have to wait and see!
