Jaden Smith may be off Twitter, but that doesn't mean he's out of the news. Recently, at a press event, The Walking Dead actor Tyler James Williams may have spilled some beans to Flicks & The City. He may have just let it slip, but apparently it sounds like he is under the impression that Jaden is going to be Static Shock in his own TV series!

I mean, it makes sense looks-wise. Take a look at the video, and pay close attention to what Williams says at 1:23...

What do you think? He's pulled off the short-to-mid length dreads before. He's got the energy and he would obviously fill theater seats just based on being controversial. Seems like it would make perfect sense.

I think this could work!

Plus, he already dressed up as a superhero for Prom, so like... why not?

Clearly, he's got some love for being heroic. And saving the day.

I kind of just hope whatever Jaden does is a bit better than After Earth, which didn't really do it for me. His role in The Karate Kid remake showed he had potential, though. I'm always down for female and ethnic superheroes, so count me in if this rumor comes to fruition!

Static Shock is set to be written, produced and directed by Reginald Hudlin.
