I noticed that there is a new contest, so I decided that this would be as good a time as any to give you all my entries.
The Suicide Squad are one of my favorite comic book teams and I am beyond excited for their upcoming feature film.
So, without further ado, here we go.
That's right. The first member of my Task Force X is the nearly unstoppable Darth Vader. The reason I included him is the fact that, while being extremely powerful, he has one of the greatest minds in the galaxy.
To put it in Layman's terms, they don't call him the Dark Lord for nothing.
Not to be confused with Eobard Thawne from the (awesome) CW series, Zoom, despite his name, actually doesn't have super-speed. He actually slows down time. If that power doesn't sound all that great to you, on one occasion, he made the Justice League look like a bunch of chumps.
Another reason he is on my team is the fact that he can time-travel, so if a mission goes awry, then he could just go back in time and fix it.
One of the most powerful beings in the DCU, Darkseid and his Omega Beams of legend have given the entire Justice League a butt-kicking of a lifetime. He has a wide array of superpowers including, but not limited to, super-strength that rivals Doomsday's, telepathy, telekinesis, flight (in some versions),and his famous M.O., the Omega Beams.
For the final member of my team I have the Devourer of Worlds. Although he claims to just be a force of nature, I have no doubts that the citizens of Earth-616 would gladly lock him up and then have him fight for the greater good. One of the most powerful beings in all of comics, Galactus has a wide array of powers as well as some of the most advanced technology in the universe. Overall, if Amanda Waller created this team, it would be nearly unstoppable.
