Inspired by the upcoming all-female Ghostbusters movie, here is my take on a fantasy Suicide Squad that is equal parts girl power and ass-kicking. The B-level villains of the Suicide Squad have nothing on this selection of wicked women.

Who doesn't love a bad girl? The four picks would make for a hot-tempered, and totally fetch Suicide Squad.

The best part is, none of them would get along.

1. Callisto - Xena Warrior Princess

My eyes are up here.
My eyes are up here.

We start off with a villain that might be a little unexpected. But Callisto is a force of pure chaos and recurring antagonist to Xena. (You know, the Warrior Princess). Hold on to your seats because this one is about to get interesting. Not only is she a formidable warrior, but Callisto has also been: an immortal, a goddess, a demon, an arch-demon, and even an angel!

This feisty blonde is highly skilled and has proven a match for Xena, her arch-nemesis and badass in her own right. Callisto brings a temper, anarchy and death wherever she goes. Sounds like the perfect choice, no?

She also fulfils the ‘crazy eyes’ quotient.

(Let’s just forget the part where she gets reincarnated as Xena’s daughter to become the bringer of peace.)

2. Mystique - X-Men

She does pilates.
She does pilates.

In the original X-Men movie trilogy Mystique is more than just a love-struck Jennifer Lawrence, she's a love-struck and totally deadly Rebecca Romijn. (Lest we forget the comics where she's has been kicking ass for decades). As the spy of the team Mystique’s shape-shifting abilities would give her an edge for espionage, and we all know that she can kick some serious ass.

Like a fart, Mystique is silent but deadly. Showing that you don’t even have to wear clothes to be a total, unapologetic bad-ass. Blue is the warmest color indeed.

Soz about it.
Soz about it.

3. Dolores Umbridge - Harry Potter

She may be no Death Eater, but Dolores Umbridge would bring a commanding presence and powerful magic to the squad. Dolores may be wicked, but she’s also smart and conniving. A ruthless tactician with no problems delving into grey-areas of villainy having victimised both children and adults alike.

Don’t be such a pussy Harry.
Don’t be such a pussy Harry.

Just watch out or she might set a pack of Dementors on you! Also, who doesn't love a villain who likes to wear pink? She would fit nicely in with my fourth and final pick for this all-female Suicide Squad.

4. Regina George - Mean Girls

Regina's first Suicide Squad didn't work out..
Regina's first Suicide Squad didn't work out..

Now for the wild card we have the Queen Bee of North Shore High School, Ms. Regina George. I know what you’re thinking, Regina doesn't have any super powers or crime-fighting skills. Or does she?

As de-facto leader of the squad Regina would bring cunning, charisma and the know-how to get whatever she wants. She may not look tough but we know she’s super resilient. I mean she got run over by a freaking bus!

Whether Regina’s convincing someone that they can’t wear hoop earrings or creating total chaos with a handful of photocopies. You don’t want to end up on her bad side (or in her Burn Book!).

I mean let’s take a vote. Raise your hand if you've ever been personally victimised by Regina George?

Yeah, that’s what I thought.
Yeah, that’s what I thought.

On Wednesday’s we wear pink, motherfuckers.

So there we have it. An all-female, all-bad-ass, all-awesome fantasy Suicide Squad. Don't think they would cut it? Try saying that to their face.
