It has been long speculated that the DC Cinematic Universe and The CW-verse are going to collide into a colossal Crisis on Infinite Earths story line. It is even said that it is to be the second part of the future Justice League movies. This would be the most amazing way for DC to compete with its friendly rival, the MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe). Sadly, there has been no evidence of this famous DC story line coming to light...
You may be confused as to why I believe this photo shoot of two different lead superhero characters is our clue to the ultimate comic book movie. I have four solid reasons for us all to contemplate.
1) The Flashand Supergirl die in Crisis on Infinite Earths.
Could these two characters be featured on the Variety Magazine only to hint as to their future deaths? Even so, why not feature Arrow with Supergirl on the magazine instead? Arrow has a higher fan-base and pulls much greater numbers for the moment being... What are you trying to tell us DC?
2) "Flash vanishes in CRISIS..."
Obviously a reference to Crisis on Infinite Earths.
3) "RED SKIES Vanish..."
In the original comic series and various other continuations, the merger of worlds results in the "skies bleeding red". This is shown directly on the sub-title of the newspaper from the future in the Flash TV show.
4) "WAYNE TECH/Queen Inc. merger complete..."
HOLY HELL BATMAN IS HERE IN THE CW-VERSE!!! WHAT?!?! HAVING TROUBLE BREATHING!!! SOMEONE GET THE DEFIBRILLATOR!!!
This is going to show how we now have two possible incarnations of Batman. Ben Affleck and Fill in the blank. If this doesn't prove the multiple universe cross-over we are about to see, I don't know what does.
