So I don't know about you, but I am a HUGE Teen Titans fan and I have been eagerly waiting for the announcement of a live action adaptation of the team for the DCEU. No such announcement has been made unfortunately, so I've taken it into my own hands to imagine a Teen Titans Trilogy and I've actually given it quite a bit of thought. I've taken into consideration announced films and hinted at plots going forward with the DCEU and here are the stories I've come up with. But first, the Back Drop...

The Birth of DCEU's Global Conspiracy

In less than a decade humanity has bore witness to more catastrophic events at the hands of God like beings than ever before. As the world’s powers continue to find them selves consistently at the mercy of superhuman figures, a new arms race begins.

The events of BvS has left the world a very changed place. In less than 3 years, two nearly catastrophic instances have taken place where the world's powers were at the mercy of God like creatures. And in the fight against Doomsday it has become clear that even mankind's greatest weapon, nuclear bombs, are nothing in comparison to these god like creatures. And as the meta human hypothesis continues to prove more valid than previously believed, the worlds powers begin a new arms race, a meta-human arms race.

Now, world powers are dumping more resources than ever before into the research and development of the new world’s super humans using recovered alien technology, DNA, and even considering mysticism in some scientific communities. Not only this, but secret government agencies are being created with the purpose of utilizing the abilities of newly found meta humans. But as the lack of real success in the mass creation of super-human soldier’s continues, the demand for scientific innovation in this new field is at an all-time high. In this high demand lies incredible opportunity for wealth, power and greatness.

Dr. Logan, a well-known geneticist and evolutionary biologist proposes the existence of a dormant meta-human gene active in the DNA of today's youth. His proposal for scientific experimentation on children is met with great controversy and is largely dismissed. Dr. Logan, with no ability to prove his theory, is publicly discredited among the scientific community.

It’s not until Logan is approached by the ambitious Queen of a ruthlessly growing African country that he acquires the resources needed to redeem himself. Having witnessed the power of Superman personally in BvS, the Queen is eager to give Logan the chance to create super-soldiers of her own. With early successes creating new meta-human children via horrid experiments, the Queen of Biayla founds an underground organization with the purpose of creating and selling meta-human soldiers.

Amazed and desperate to get in on the answer to the superhuman arm’s race, large powers, corporations and businesses secretly invest tons of resources into the Queen’s underground organization, giving her massive influence and putting the African country of Biayla on the map. And thus, the Queen Bee’s H.I.V.E. is born.

When Dick Grayson, retired comrade of the Batman, learns of an organization that is responsible for secretly experimenting on children to create weaponized meta-humans, Dick has to reevaluate his stance on teenage superheroes as he is forced to craft a team of them in order to bring down the operation from within. Once inside though, the Teen Titans are shocked to learn the horrifying weight of the situation but it's too late to turn back.

Inspired Story Lines:

This story would make an origin from a mix elements included in the Hive Academy story line from Teen Titans the animated series, The New 52's The Ravagers and Young Justice Season two's team rescue operation.

Basic Plot Summary:

Dick Grayson's vigilantly days are behind him as he opens Haley's Traveling Circus in yet another city. With help from his wife, Barbra Gorden, he manages the circus with great success. His relatively normal life is interrupted when an old vigilantly friend, Roy Harper, comes asking for Dick's help. With Roy is Beast Boy, a teenaged meta-human escapee on the run from the H.I.V.E. They say the H.I.V.E is a secret local organization that is kidnapping children and turning them into meta-humans. The two of them insist that Dick is the only one who can help bring them down as the organization has it's hands in the local authorities. Vigilante vets; Dick, Roy, and Barbra cautiously assembles a team of super powered teenagers and enters the H.I.V.E.. The gifted members enter as prisoners while Dick and Roy exploit an inside connection to become H.I.V.E. agents. Once inside the team discovers they were fed wrong information putting them in greater danger than expected. Come to find out, Roy's inside man, a masked agent of the H.I.V.E., manipulated Beast Boy's escape to get Dick, and the others to assist him with his own agenda against the hive. It also turns out the entire operation had moved into H.I.V.E.'s main conditioning base where all of the H.I.V.E.'s meta-soldiers to be await the H.I.V.E.'s very first arms convention. As Roy and Dick are being integrated into the H.I.V.E. as contracted guards the teenage team members struggle with the H.I.V.E.'s techno conformity practices. During this, Dick and Roy meet the Queen Bee as well as her number one, DeathStroke. After the Queen thanks the two for bringing the group of meta humans, she rewards them with positions in H.I.V.E. as assistants in Death Stroke's combat training program...

As the Titans, operating under federal agent Amanda Waller, continue to free other meta-human test subjects from the H.I.V.E., another team of escaped meta-humans emerges. Only, this group of meta-teens is being led by the Red Hood, a familiar fanatic who seeks retribution against the H.I.V.E. that the law can't or won't provide. And in a society that is becoming increasingly wary of super beings, the Titans must not allow the Red Hood and his outlaws to further damage the image of meta-humans.

Inspired Story Lines

This story would make a Professor X, Magneto like relation ship out of KnightWing and The Red hood. This story would also draw from the way X-men deals with super powered youth in the real world. The story would involve the arc between Raven, Terra, and Beast Boy from Teen Titans the Animated show and feature a variation of the H.I.V.E. Five.

Years following the event's of Double the Trouble, the Titans have publicly and privately fallen apart. But as the death of an old friend begins to haunt the new lives of the young adult heroes, it becomes clear that they will need to re-unite once more in order to battle the demon of a fallen ally.

Inspired By:

This story would be the combination of three Teen Titan's stories. The first being the episode where the Titans are grown up and separated. The second being when the Team is being haunted by ghosts that turn out to be Raven's energy. The third being the whole coming of Trigon Ark.
