Honey Moon is coming, and It's coming soon. Lana Del Reys follow up to her excellent 2014 offering, UltraViolence, is rumored to be arriving in mid August. This would place the album release just weeks after the end of her "Endless Summer" tour. She is rumored to begin a world tour a few weeks later, most likely in promotion of her new album. It may be coming quickly on the heels of her last effort, but by no means does that mean the album won't be up to snuff. Paradise came just a few months after Born To Die, and that EP was to me one of the most pleasurable albums of 2012.
Lana has definitely been busy. She contributed to songs to Tim Burtons Big Eyes last year, and this year she has recorded songs for Lee Toland Krieger's film "The Age of Adeline". Shown above is a snippet of one of her new songs that will be on the soundtrack. Not only has she been busy the in the soundtrack circuit, she also stated back in January that she had 9 songs recorded and ready for Honeymoon. The album is now most likely close to being finished. We just have to wait a few more months for Lana to drop on us. And it's gonna be dope.
