As we are all aware by now, Jared Leto is taking over the role of the Joker in the upcoming film Suicide Squad. I've been asking myself this question for awhile now, will Leto outshine Heath Ledger? For most of you I'm sure, and as well as myself, Heath Ledger's performance and the Clown Prince of Crime was if not one of the greatest performances of all time. Every time I think of the Joker now, Heath's pretty, scared up face pops straight into my head. But, with all the behind the scenes photo's of Leto's Joker it has caused quite a stir amongst fanboys. I am here to help put all the controversy to rest....well, hopefully. As of late I have been scratching my head, and been very disappointed in what I have seen from the set pictures.

I mean, come on. The first time I saw this I put my head in my hands in shame. I kept saying they're going to ruin my favorite villain of all time (besides Darth Vader of course). But seriously? No purple suit, the god awful tattoos, the LAMBO? WHY? I had extremely high expectations for Jared Leto, because of what the man can do on screen. But after seeing these I got itchy feet.

But, as of last night I came across a little recording which is supposedly a leaked recording of Leto's Joker voice. And let me tell you, it opened my eyes a little bit, and I warmed up to the tatted, Lamborghini driving Joker. Check out the recording:

If this is the voice of our new Joker, than hot DAMN! I've listened to this recording about ten times and each time it gives me chills. The laugh, the raspy voice, his demeanor. It's perfect! I may not be used to the Arkham prison tattoos just yet, but I'm starting to warm up to our new Joker. The fact of the matter is, there is going to be a new Joker among us, for a very long time it seems. I may not be convinced right now, but you never know what kind of Joker Jared Leto is playing, and it very well could be one of the coolest Joker's we've ever seen. Let's just hope this recording is real and Jared Leto blows us away with his rendition of the Clown Prince of Crime.

What do you think of Jared Leto's Joker?
