So far this movie is looking very promising they are only looking at taking on young actors to play a young spiderman in high school, great no more high schools that only have thirty years olds. Also the rumoured titles "The Spectacular Spiderman" and "Spiderman: The New Avenger". But there are a lot of disadvantages against this movie like its, late arrival in the marvel cinematic universe, the other five films out that took the most notorious villains, and people perhaps giving up on the character just because theres so many movies of him. But this just may be the ticket that Spideys' always needed. One people who actually care about the movie are working on it, unlike the amazing spiderman films, no offense fans. It won't hopefully have the out of control mopey seriousness the Rammey trilogy did, that were so dramatic or sad that you felt like you had to take an antidepressant pill by the end of the movie. This just may be the right proper level of fun that we need thats in the comics and cartoons. Speaking of cartoons they really need to copy the spectacular spiderman series for its drama moments but also great reasonable comic humor, and proper portrayal of characters. The spectacular spiderman was good because it just really did feel like a modern series people craved.

So if in theory spiderman is going to be perfect what about the movies villans then well . . .

Rumours seem to be building up that we are going to be getting another green goblin by the ant-man easter eggs and green goblins role in civil war, and you never know if they play him right the character may as entertaining as the first time we see him. Most are considering Matthew Mcgogney as the goblin which could turn out to be just right. But I'm with you I've had enough of that character which is why i've created a list of possible villains for the next film.

A fan favourite that the majority of nerds, including myself want to see is Shocker. No thats actually his name, Shocker, that wasn't sarcasim leading up to the character.

A excellent not-so-known villain which is great!

Shocker

For those who have no idea who I'm talking about, in the cartoon, this was a cool common crook who was caught by Spidey many times before getting this cool suit from the Kingpin/tombstone. The allows him to aww well power up his fists and you know shock people. He really doesn't hate Spidey or have a grudge against him, (except for the time he found out who he was and kidnaped Mary Jane), but just fights him so that he can complete his robbery. Which is a new cool "comic" like angle this movie needs, and could also tie in with the trouble Ant-Man has with super-suits falling into the wrong hands. Also that Peter isn't defending himself from all these bad dudes 247 but just stopping them for ordinary citizens sake instead, which would be great if he was actually trying to join the Avengers in the movie. The more you look at his costume too it really grows on you. But if we see him it will probably only see him as a battle beginning the movie or as a cameo.

Spider-Slayers

Robots made to specifically capture Spiderman.
Robots made to specifically capture Spiderman.

Perhaps Spiderman's worst enemy was J.J.Jaimeson , his boss at daily bugle, since in the comics he hated Spiderman so much he paid people to make machines/robots to capture, unmask or just kill him. There were a lot of different robots that were made but spiderman seemed to be able to outsmart most of them, if they were doing scorpion as the villain these could definitely end up in the plot. They are menacing and very powerful and spiderman can really seem like a bug to these things. Also could fit into the problem of people making dangerous robots like in Ultron, Ant-Man, and iron man. If they were going along the line that Spiderman had to improve his reputation to join the avengers this could easily fit in the plot as a good example of how much some individuals despise Spidey, very opposite to the shocker role. Not as cheery but it would still feel very new, so this is just another unfamilair villain, they could use.

Scorpion

McDonald "mac" Gargan (aka scorpion), is perhaps one of the coolest costumed bad guys of Spiderman is the Scorpion. He was hired as a private investagater to find out how Parker gets all of these amazing pictures of Spiderman. Agent Sitwell (bald Hydra agent who died in civil war) was paid for by ,James Johan Jaimeson, he was made to have the natural hunting habits of scorpions to the prey of spiders. He's stronger than spiderman, has a poisonous mechanical tail, personal rage for j.j. and Spiderman, and that green costume that matches spideys' in some weird way. In the comics he defeated him twice and brought him to the lair where he escaped, and threatened aunt may who was in the hospital with Peter in a coma next to her to say where was Spiderman. He could make a suitable and great replacement for the green goblin that everyone really doesn't feel like seeing again. Ironically much later in the comics Mac also turned into venom.

Venom

Thanks to Spiderman 3 most will know his origin story ,so ,yeah. He's a fan favourite and everyone says that he was done so incredibly poorly that he needs to be redone, and you never know he just might. Most likely though Marvel may want to wait for after Avengers 4 (secret wars) if they have it, to use him along with Carnage. Not that much to say here, so lets on a hardcore villain.

Carnage

If I had to put his origin story in one sentence it would be, "Venom and a psychopath had a baby in prison and it is ugly". Carnage is so superior to Venom that spiderman and venom teamed up, long story, could hardly beat him. When they were first brainstorming him to put in the comics they wanted for him to have no sense of morality and the sanity of the joker. In the comics really every time spiderman had to challenge him he brought a friend just to make sure he was a little safer, human torch, iron man, venom, etc. I personally think that he is the strongest villain that spiderman has to fight. I don't know if it's the comedic fun angle that marvels looking of though, so my guess is he or venom won't be in the upcoming. But here may be an apprioate guess.

This is what Rhino is supposed to look like.
This is what Rhino is supposed to look like.

Rhino

Ya i do know what your thinking not that racist mechanical menace again, well the truth is that "Rhino" sony made is nothing like the one everywhere else. Rhino instead of a suit is suppose to have this stayed on chemical that acted for him as a new layer of unbreakable skin, how he goes to the bathroom I don't really know, but he is awesome in every right. Rhino was another desperate or just not very smart crook that said, "You want to put a new layer of skin on me that won't come of yeah I'll do that, robberies will be so much easier". As you guess his robberies are constantly also being stopped by Spidey which unlike Shocker is why he does hate him. Spiderman usually had to outsmart this guy all the time in order to defeat him not a lot of overpowering here like in some spiderman films. This would be a good comedic and loss fun route for Marvel to go on.

Sinister Six

Now I now what you're thinking it will seem like they are just trying to keep sony's promise of this team, but thats not why they should do this. In this story Spiderman has many moments that really show what spiderman is all about, defending the innocent, himself, using his bronze not just muscle, saving those whom his very suiting-up threatens like Aunt May and Mary Jane. Its one of the most exciting stories spiderman has had, as he slowly managed to take down each by each with it's epic climax of him grabbing Aunt Mays cure for her disease while drowning. It would be one of the best ways of showing Spiderman in just one movie, especially since it seems that he's only going to get one. Plus yes everyone gets their favourite villains in there somewhere and everyones happy. How this would play into Spiderman qualifying for the Avengers I really don't know, maybe they will just do what they did in Captain America: The First Avenger and have that part at the very end.

Kraven The Hunter

There seems to be a ton of rumours about Kraven ending up as Marvels villan. This is only because of "the Kravens last hunt" comic, where he darts spiderman putting him in a coma, but Kraven thinks he killed him so he burries him (alive) and then puts on his outfit and "be's" Spiderman to prove that he's better and after kills himself, and then Spiderman wakes up from his coma. Not the brightest story really but people seem to think that is important. He hunted Spiderman to prove that he was the best hunter in the world, and sometimes fought him with many animals and a lot of booby traps.

So who do you want to see, and who do you think is going to be in the movie?
