The events of Avengers: Age of Ultron left fans with a lot of unanswered questions. One big question primarily is what is next for the Hulk? Last we saw of Bruce Banner he was drifting away in a S.H.I.E.L.D jet to an unknown location. Most believed that Hulk would not be appearing in Captain America: Civil War and would pop up in Infinity War, now a new rumor from the MCU Exchange suggests. There are rumors that we may not only see Bruce Banner, but also another version of the Hulk, but who?
Actor William Hurt is set to reprise his role as General Thunderbolt Ross in Captain America: Civil War. Ross is rumored to be working closely with Tony Stark in implementing the Superhuman Registration Program. In the comics, General Ross is RED HULK! Red Hulk may make an appearance and be a Villain at some point during Civil War.
How will Red Hulk tie in?
Since Bruce Banner is MIA, it is going to take something BIG to bring The Hulk out of hiding. Red Hulk, unlike Bruce Banner has no intentions of using his strength for good, only evil. With near equal powers to that of The Hulk, the only Avenger that could take him out is Bruce Banner, which may be the reason we see a Hulk Appearance, a Hulk Vs Red Hulk battle!
Fans would love a Hulk Vs Red Hulk battle in Civil War, I am unsure if Marvel could fit all of these plot points in one film. With the feud between Captain America and Tony Stark, Crossbones, and the introduction of Black Panther and possibly Spider-Man, it is going to be tough to fit this battle into the move. However, This would be really cool! I would really love to see Hulk involved in Civil War in some way, especially against Red Hulk!
