Disney is taking fans back to a galaxy far, far away in the upcoming film "Star Wars Episode 7: The Force Awakens"! While continuing the space action story-line, new never-told stories will be released, starting next year. These movies will most likely take place between the new and old episodes. They are said to be known as "Anthology films". The first film "Star Wars: Rogue One" will be released in 2016. It has been announced that the second film will be featuring Boba Fett and Han Solo in 2018!

Coming Back To The Big Screen?

If you thought that "Return Of The Jedi" was the last time fans will see Boba Fett, you thought wrong! This bounty hunter wasn't planning on going down in the Sarlacc Pit! Fett ending up surviving and continuing his bounty hunting ways! It was officially confirmed last year by J.W. Rinzler; who said that George Lucas personally told him that Boba Fett was never killed off, the original trilogy just made it seem like he did. When Rinzler was asked if he believes that Fett survived the event that took place in "Episode 6" he stated:

Yes, he does. I have been in meetings with George where he confirms that Fett survived. If it comes from George then it’s true!

When will fans see Boba Fett again? "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" is being released to theaters this year, and there may have been speculation that Fett will make a cameo or even a full appearance in the film. Speculations also say that Boba Fett will be apart of the main plot for the second Anthology film. The story will be featuring what started the conflict between Han Solo and Fett. Fans will definitely see more of this bounty hunter on the big screen; and it may even show an origin story of the Mandalorian warrior!

Nothing Beats An Awesome Space-Cowboy!

Harrison Ford is of course returning to the space action saga as the bad*** space-cowboy smuggler, Han Solo! This Anthology film will show the events taking place right after "Revenge of The Sith" and before "A New Hope". The film will go deep into Han Solo's smuggling life, and also showing him and Chewbacca team-up on-screen for another ride in his beautiful Millennium Falcon! These Anthology films won't be in anyway connected to the main saga; but just tell new stories and make the upcoming episodes more exciting and fun to watch!

The second Anthology film which will be featuring the bounty hunter story-line, hit an obstacle after director Josh Trank reportedly left the film. For now, Lucasfilm is currently still looking for a replacement, and hopefully they find one soon!

Only 195 days until "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" flies into theaters December 18, 2015! The film will be featuring, Mark Hamill, Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, Chewy, John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac, Anthony Daniels, and Kenny Baker!
