At the end of this past April, an alleged insider claimed that 12 Years A Slave Oscar-winning screenplay writer John Ridley was in talks to work on a Marvel Studios TV show with ABC after his show American Crime, which according to the report, is apparently set to be cancelled. ABC was apparently attempting to convince him to begin work on a show based on Cloak and Dagger, a project that has been delayed since the early days of Marvel Studios.

Yesterday, Heroic Hollywood leaked exclusive information that, while most Marvel shows are being looked at for Netflix, only Ms. Marvel, Cloak and Dagger, and a Hulk prequel series are being looked into to air on ABC, following in the footsteps of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and Agent Carter. This report seemingly supports the idea that a Ms. Marvel show could very well be on its way.

MoviePilot got the exclusive opportunity to interview actress Amanda Miller this past weekend at the Momocon 2015 Anime and Gaming Convention in Atlanta on projects she'd be interested in, and it seems we may have found the perfect casting for Ms. Marvel! When asked what roles Miller would love to play in future projects, Miller went straight into the realm of Marvel superheroes:

Miller: If they ever made a Young Avengers, I played Kate Bishop voiceover-wise in the Marvel Heroes video game, so it got me into the comic series, and I think it would be cool to be Captain, not Captain America, Miss America. America Chavez, I'm like 'She's got the big hair and everything!'
Me: And you could pull off Ms. Marvel!
Miller: Wait! She... I thought she was blonde or something?
Me: She is Middle Eastern.
Miller: Miss Marvel is?!
Me: Yup, the new Miss Marvel is.
Miller: What?!
Me: Miss Marvel became Captain Marvel -
Miller: *Laughs* She got promoted.
Me: *Laughs* Yeah, and there's a new Miss Marvel now.
Miller: Well good to know!
Me: And there's rumors going around that they're going to do a TV show.
Miller: Yeah, I should get on twitter and be like '' !

With Amanda Miller's Jennifer Lawrence-type personality in which you can't help but fall in love with her character and walk away from her somehow wishing deep down you could be friends, she certainly needs to be cast in some role with Marvel.

Miller is most famously known for her voice acting as Sailor Jupiter in Sailor Moon, as well as other shows and games such as Blue Exorcist, Sword Art Online, Squid Girl, Marvel Heroes, Fire Emblem, and World of Warcraft.
