The official trailer for Robert Zemeckis' THE WALK just dropped online and it's fantastic!

From the director of Back to the Future, Cast Away, Forrest Gump and Flight comes the true story of Philippe Petit, a tight rope walker who aspires to walk between the Twin Towers at the World Trade Center.

Joseph Gordon Levitt (500 Days Of Summer, Don Jon) stars as Petit, a Frenchman who travels to New York to show the world what he can do. The film centers on Petit and his group of friends who plan to rig up a high wire between the Twin Towers, a very illegal and dangerous stunt that could make or break Petit's life.

After dancing for nearly an hour on the wire, he was arrested, taken for psychological evaluation, and brought to jail before he was finally released. This is a very interesting story and should make for a thrilling experience at the cinema, especially in IMAX 3D.

Joseph Gordon Levitt is an extraordinary actor, with absolutely magnetic performances in (500) Days Of Summer, 50/50, Don Jon and Inception, Levitt has done great work and hopefully The Walk will only add to his very impressive resume.

I loved the trailer, it was fun, exciting and very interesting. What did you guys think of the trailer? Let me know in the comments below or on Twitter @JamesPorter97
