The mandalorian bounty hunter Boba Fett if a popular fan-favorite despite his severe lack of screen time in the original trilogy. His role was explored more in-depth in the Star Wars expanded universe, but he was always remembered as the guy who got pushed into the Sarlacc pit.

The bounty hunter seems to have a larger part in the upcoming trilogy, and he is rumored to even be the focus of the second Star Wars Anthology movie. With the seventh movie coming up soon, the franchise is going to need a way to explain how Fett escaped the Sarlacc. I think this post-credit scene could bridge the gap perfectly between Return of the Jedi and The Force Awakens.

The camera pans down from the starts, revealing a large dormant spaceship. The Slave I barely comes into focus as it carefully docks against the ship.

The scene changes to the inside of the ship, on the bridge where a figure in a black cloak is standing, facing toward the large view-port. Boba Fett, clad in his traditional Mandalorian armor, enters the room escorted by two crimson Imperial guards.

"I've been told that you faced Skywalker back on Tatooine." The figure spoke in a menacing deep voice.

"That's right." Fett acknowledged. "The Jedi scum cost me a lot of credits."

"All that you lost will be repaid, and more if you work for me." The figure promised.

"And how would you have enough credits to pay the same I would have got from the Hutt?"

"The Empire has no shortage of credits, I can assure you."

"Last I heard Vader and the Emperor were both dead, and the Empire died with them."

"The Emperor may be dead, but the Dark Side lives on. As long as I have its power, the Empire will never die."

"Then why do you need me?"

"I've heard tales of your skill in battle. With the right equipment, I believe you could finally put an end to those ho have caused us both trouble."

"My blaster is all the equipment I need."

The dark figure chuckles and turns around. Fett could finally see the metal helmet protecting the figures face. "Captain Phasma, bring the bounty hunter his weapon."

A chrome-plated Stormtrooper walks through the door behind Fett, carrying a heavily modified blaster rifle. "Yes Master Ren." The soldier said, as it unclips a small silver cylinder from its belt.

"To my understanding, you are familiar with the weapon of the Jedi, are you not?"

Fett studies the cylinder and presses the switch on it, causing an emerald beam of light to spring out. He looks it up and down before turning his attention back to the figure. "Just tell me what to do." Fett says.

The figure chuckles again as he unclips his own lightsaber. He ignites the crimson blade and two smaller blades shoot out the side to form a crossguard. "The line of Skywalker must come to an end."

So what do you think? Would you have loved to see this as a post-credit scene? Or am I completely nuts? Let me know in the comments below!
