In light of several Disney resurrections of beloved princesses like Cinderella and Belle, Disney has officially given the greenlight to a fun-filled new Tangled TV show! Although it may be difficult to remember amidst the Frozen fever that has taken the world by storm, there once was a golden-locks princess who stole the heart of millions in 2010. Disney's Tangled, a much more light-hearted version of the original Grimm tale Rapunzel, tells the tale of a spirited, young girl desperate to explore the world after being locked away in a tower for 18 years. After recruiting a handsome outlaw to guide her, the two head into the woods to experience the adventures the world has to offer.

Now, both Rapunzel and Flynn return in an all-new animated series set to premiere internationally on Disney Channel in 2017! According to the network, the show, which will be welcoming back Mandy Moore and Zachary Levi as their lead voice talent, will take place after the events of the original film and prior to the royal wedding in Tangled Ever After.

Rapunzel, now knowing the truth about her royal destiny, decides to learn as much as she can about the world and her new kingdom before embracing the royal crown. The long-locked maiden and future queen of Corona will be joined by her partner-in-crime and fiance Flynn Rider (i.e. Eugene Fitzgerald), the mischievous chameleon Pascal, the loyal Maximus, the Snuggly Duckling Crew, and Rapunzel's newest confidant Cassandra.

With Moore and Levi reprising their lead roles and composer Alan Menken and lyricist Glenn Slater returning with their musical genius, I'm confident that Disney's latest venture will not disappoint!

Now, what are some things fans would love to see in the new show...?

Pascal the Chameleon

Maximus the Horse

The Snuggly Duckling Pub

The Tower

A Mysterious Mother Gothel Cameo
