Yesterday, rumors were being thrown across the interwebs left and right, that Jason Statham, the modern action hero, was in talks with Marvel to portray supervillain Bullseye in season 2 of Marvel/Netflix's Daredevil.

Well today, Jason might have just destroyed those rumors like he would an enemy plane with a motorcycle in an epic action sequence!

While discussing his new movie Spy, Statham started talking about his concern towards action movies these days, specifically how reliant the Marvel movie action sequences are on CGI:

Any guy can do it. I mean, I could take my grandma and put her in a cape and then put her in a green screen, and they’ll have stunt doubles come in and do all the action. Anybody can do it. They’re relying on stunt doubles and green screen and $200 million budget. It’s all CGI created.

I can only imagine the look on Jason Statham's grandmother's face when she heard that.

I do my own stunts!
I do my own stunts!

Though his rumored Daredevil involvement wasn't mentioned, I'd have to imagine that Marvel won't take to lightly to Mr. Statham calling them out like that.

What do you think? Will this affect Jason's Bullseye casting, if he's being considered at all? I guess we'll know sooner or later, with Daredevil filming later this year for its 2016 premiere.
