The folks over at 20th Century Fox are beginning to have to make a huge decision. either to retire the iconic character of Wolverine or to finally recast him. According to CinemaBlend.com, Kingsman: The Secret Service star, Taron Edgarton, would love a shot at the potential recast role.

Taron Edgarton recently had an interview with Screen Rant, where the subject of the-soon-finale of the Wolverine franchise is finally happening. He was asked his interest in the part, if they were to recast the part and he said:

He would very much love the opportunity. I don’t know if I’m quite grizzly enough. My facial hair is still very thin and patchy. I feel someone who plays Wolverine potentially needs testosterone in abundance. Yeah, I’d love to have a go at it, but I don’t know. [Laughs] I don’t know.

He also added:

I was with Hugh the day that he announced his retirement from that role. I did joke about that very thing with him. But the phone hasn’t rang yet, my friend, so I don’t know.
