In honor of the CINEMATIC X-Men's 15th anniversary on July 14th, I thought I'd show you what possibly could've been, or possibly the future of the franchise.

SO LET'S GET STARTED!

Keep in mind that I can't go into every single mutant, so I'm choosing to stick to only the core members like Wolverine, Storm, etc.

First to the plate....

WOLVERINE - DANIEL RADCLIFFE

Coming in at 5' 5", Radcliffe already has an advantage being as short as he is, because according to the Marvel Wikia, Wolverine comes in at 5' 3". Now I get that height barely matters, I think Hugh does great playing Wolverine even though he's a foot taller than his comics counterpart. We've seen how versatile an actor he was with his more recent work like Horns and What If, so it's plausible that he could pull off America's Favorite Canadian-Somewhat-Aptly-Named-Badger-Like Superhero.

HONORABLE MENTION - KARL URBAN

CYCLOPS - CHRIS PINE

I feel like Chris would be able to have that stern but bada** personality of Cyclops. I enjoyed him as Captain Kirk even though the Star Trek films aren't exactly my favorite.

HONORABLE MENTION - GARRET HEDLUND

JEAN GREY/PHOENIX - JULIANNE MOORE

Yes, she may be a bit older but I think there's potential. If you don't agree with that then:

HONORABLE MENTION - CHRISTINA HENDRICKS

STORM - KERRY WASHINGTON

Sort of the obvious choice seeing as she's on fire right now in her career, but honestly I'm content with Halle as Storm.

HONORABLE MENTION - ANGELA BASSETT

I think Angela, even though she is older, could potentially work as Storm, although I do doubt that a studio would cast her in the role.

MAGNETO - PETER CAPALDI

For the big bad, Magneto, I think Capaldi would be a good choice. I hear he's great as the Doctor. Just from seeing interviews with him, he has such a menacing but yet almost soft voice that I think would be perfect for Magneto. Again I think the primary reason for choosing an actor is their acting, not looks or voice or such, but I have yet to see a lot of his work but I have confidence in this pick.

PROFESSOR X - TERRY O'QUINN

After seeing his work in a show you probably have never heard of, Earth 2, (I tried to say that in the least Hipster way possible, but seriously it has a very small audience.) You have my word, which probably means absolutely nothing to you, that he would be amazing as Professor X. I'll say no more, just watch the clip below. His voice isn't perfect but with an accent he'd sound awesome, and lets be honest, he certainly looks the part.

HONORABLE MENTION - CHRISTOPHER ECCLESTON

Does it need saying? Doo wee oooooooh......

So this concludes my somewhat who-centric fan casting. You may find it a bit flawed but they're just my choices. Feel free to lemme know down in the comments what you thought of my choices and share your own! BUT I ASK THAT YOU PLEASE DO SO PEACEFULLY AND RESPECTFULLY! I'm not in the mood for a flame war.
