After such a prolonged period of silence from Hello Games regarding their highly anticipated PS4 and PC exclusive No Man's Sky, people have started to worry that it could join the list of games that include Uncharted 4, which have been pushed to 2016. However, seeing as we're so close to the E3 convention and we have yet to hear any announcement from Sony, I think it's safe to say they won't be announcing a delayed release date.

That'd be a ridiculous way in which to kill the excitement for this game and Sony really need to get some first-party exclusives released in the second half of 2015 after the departure of Nathan Drake. So No Man's Sky may be safely rooted in 2015, but does that mean that E3 will finally bring a release date? An Australian magazine gave us an ETA a few months back - but it's not much to go on.

No Man's Sky Won't Be Playable At E3

The only piece of news - well it wasn't exactly announced - for No Man's Sky regarding E3 is that it won't be playable throughout the convention. You can check out Sony's list of games on the floor here, and sadly the game we're all dying to actually try won't be around until the Paris Game Convention most likely. I'm gutted it won't be at Gamescom. But what exactly does it mean for No Man's Sky that Hello Games won't be allowing players to try it next week?

Perhaps they have a few more presentations planned before they unleash it upon us, or maybe the game isn't quite ready to have a load of testers. We'll have to wait and see, because even though No Man's Sky won't be playable at E3, there's no way Sony will be hiding one of the most interesting exclusives they have at the moment.

Could E3 Give us the No Mans Sky Release Date?

This really is the big question. We've seen two cryptic trailers for No Man's Sky at past events and we really need something more substantial. While we know a lot about its procedurally generated universe, we know very little about what it'll be like to actually play this PS4 exclusive. Could we be granted a big gameplay demonstration along with the announcement of a release date? Well, Sony?

What do you think gamers? Will [No Man's Sky](tag:2684052) get its release date at E3? Why do you think it isn't playable at the convention? Be sure to let us know what you think in the comments below!
