One of the awesomest, and most epic scenes in "X-men: Days of Future Past" was when Quicksilver used his super-speed to help Charles Xavier and Wolverine to break Magneto out of prison (in the Pentagon)! May 27, 2016 marks the official release of "[X-Men: Apocalypse](tag:1194267)", which will be showing fans a new younger look at some of the well-known iconic characters. One of those iconic characters happen to be Pietro Maximoff or Quicksilver! Pietro didn't have the biggest role in "Days of Future Past", but fans still saw a first look at the young speedster who may turn out to be the son of Magneto as he is in the comics. "Days of Future Past" definitely won't be the last time fans will see him, since it has already been announced that he will be making another appearance in the new upcoming film next year!
Brian Smrz Already Confirmed It!
A while ago, in an interview with Newsarama, the second unit director for "Days of Future Past" Brian Smrz announced that they will work to give Quicksilver another one of his own scenes in "X-Men: Apocalypse" that will show off his fast abilities again on the big screen as he said here:
Well, there will be another Quicksilver scene, which I’m looking forward to; that’ll be fun.
The scene will definitely most-likely happen in the new upcoming film, and fans will see a better look at Pietro next year than in "[X-Men: Days Of Future Past](tag:203942)!"
Bryan Singer Just Teased It!
Just yesterday, the director of "X-men: Apocalypse" Bryan Singer just posted this epic photo on Instagram, teasing the shooting of a new scene on set! In the photo above, fans see what looks like to be people being flown into the air in a slow-motion act which may be related to the Quicksilver scene in the Pentagon when he was breaking out Magneto. Quicksilver may not appear in the photo, but Bryan said this in the caption of the post:
Just another day at the office. #Quicksilver #Xmen #XmenApocalypse
Really looks like just another normal day at the office! If you take a look at the clothing of some of the actors, you can notice that the style shows that the film will take place some time in the 70's or 80's (most likely in the 70's). It really would be epic if 'Quicksilver' goes up against the evil old mutant 'En Sabah Nur'! I bet he won't see that coming! Wait...wrong universe...sorry!
X-Men: Apocalypse will hit theaters May 27, 2016 starring, Jennifer Lawrence as Mystique, James McAvoy as Professor X, Michael Fassbender as Magneto, Nicholas Hoult as Beast, Alexandra Shipp as Storm, Lana Condor as Jubilee, Olivia Munn as Psylocke, Ben Hardy as Archangel, Sophie Turner as Jean Grey, Tye Sheridan as Cyclops, Oscar Isaac as Apocalypse, and Evan Peters as Quicksilver!
