There have been many different lineups of the X-men. Some have been better than others. Some try to recreate the same fun and magic that the older ones from the earlier 80’s and 70’s did like The Colossus Wolverine fastball special.

As time moves on there has been many new artists, writers, and characters added to the X-Men. Some of my favorites were through the 90’s Jim Lee era, and the 1980’s Romita Jr , Art Adams, John Byrne, Rick Leonardi and Marc Silvestri to name a few did some fantastic artwork, and of course legendary writer Chris Claremont who is responsible for so many great stories.

What are some of your favorite eras of the X-Men and why? I still like some of the newer collaborators also such as Grant Morrison and Frank Quietly, but I think the best stuff was on the 1980’s and than the 1990’s IMO.

What do you all think?
