Over the years, we've gotten some excellent DC Comics films such as "Superman: The Movie", The Dark Knight trilogy, and more. But, as with many franchises, we have also seen some bad and some downright cringe-worthy films. So, let's dive right in, and find 5 times that we got bad films based on DC Comics characters!

Note: This list is in no particular order. Also, if you do not agree with me, just comment below and tell me in a civil way. I hope you have fun reading this!

5) Batman Forever (1995)

I'm sorry I even have to remind you guys of this film, but hey, at least we don't see the batnipples in the photo. Anyways, besides for some pretty good action scenes, the film is so bad that you can't even cringe at it. Just thinking about the film makes me cringe. Let's move on, shall we?

4) Batman and Robin (1997)

Again, I'm sorry I have to remind you, but it's on the list. So, what's.wrong with this film? Well, just about everything. Arnold Schwarzenegger as Mr. Freeze was bad, Uma Thurman as Poison Ivy was bad, and all the rest if the casting was bad. I guess that a good part in "Batman and Robin" would be the action sequences. They were alright, but nothing too special.

3) Superman IV: The Quest for Peace (1987)

If there's one thing true about bad DC Comics films, it's that they truly do make it bad. The Superman movie franchise was doing so well with the first two Superman films, but then we got Superman 3 and 4. While the acting is good, the bad storyline and plot holes are more than enough for people not to like this film.

2) Superman Returns (2006)

Despite the great director Bryan Singer and a great actor like Brandon Routh, the film is bad. You know, if Singer had stayed with the X-Men, we wouldn't have this and we would've gotten a good X-Men 3, possibly. Anyways, the film is 2 1/2 hours long, and it's not even entertaining enough to keep you there for the entire 2 1/2 hours. The acting - well, most of the acting - is good. And that is not Lex Luthor, that's a Lex Luthor pretender who's not doing a good job pretending to be Lex Luthor. I could go on and on and on with the bads, but the point is that you don't want to watch this film.

1) Superman III (1983)

Sorry for the bad quality
Sorry for the bad quality

"Superman III", the prequel to "Superman IV: The Quest for Peace", is once again a pretty bad film. From evil Superman to bad CGI, (when talking about CGI, I mean bad for 1983, just compare it to Star Wars episode 6 that came out the same year.), "Superman III" is just bad. But as usual, not everything is bad. Christopher Reeves gave us a solid performance as Clark Kent/Kal-El/Superman, and most of the rest of the acting is good. But... it couldn't live up to the greatness that was the first or second Superman movies.

So, that's 5 times that we got bad films based on DC Comics characters. How did I do? Do you agree with me, or have I lost my mind? Comment below and share your opinions, or take the poll.
