Ever since it was confirmed that Benedict Cumberbatch would play the Sorcerer Supreme in the upcoming Doctor Strange movie, Marvel fans have been eagerly awaiting further news regarding what we can expect from the live film adaptation.

At the helm of the film is director Scott Derrickson (Sinister, Deliver Us from Evil), who is no newcomer when it comes to dealing with the supernatural, and will be written by Joshua Oppenheimer (Sahara) and Jon Spaihts (Prometheus).

With the recent announcement that Chiwetel Ejiofor is set to play Baron Mordo and rumors that Tilda Swinton is in talks to play a gender swapped version of the Ancient One, some people are struggling with the idea of waiting until 2016 to see more about this movie.

The sooner we know more about Benedict Cumberbatch playing a superhero magician, the better.

Lucky for us, YouTuber David Johns created a teaser trailer for the film, featuring a goateed Benedict Cumberbatch and aptly set a covered version of The Doors "People are Strange." Check out his awesome work below:

I don't know about you, but if this is what the movie will feel like, I'd be pretty happy with it! It's just eerie enough to add intrigue, without being too creepy.

Hopefully there will be more than enough magic and mystery to go around.

It's not often that a fan-made trailer will get me so excited for a movie, but this one has really done it. Fall of 2016 just can't come soon enough!

Doctor Strange is set to release on November 4, 2016.
