Eli Roth brought us Hostel, Cabin Fever and Green Inferno which will finally enter theaters on September 25, 2015. Now he's turned his evil laser-sight to ENORMOUS SHARKS.

Specifically, the Megalodon, a giant shark beast that lived in the Cenozoic Era 15 million years ago, give or take a few centuries. It grew to about 60 feet in length and could bite a T-Rex's head off (in theory - they lived in separate periods).

Here's some good ol' Discovery Channel footage that can better explain the Megalodon than I can:

MEG the movie will be taken from Steve Alten's thriller MEG: A Novel of Deep Terror. Expect some kind of bloody mash-up between Jaws, Sharknado and Jurassic Park.

TL;DR: Megalodon was a massive shark and Eli Roth's making a movie about it. Interested?
