A group of people around the world are suddenly linked mentally, and must find a way to survive being hunted by those who see them as a threat to the world's order.

Sorry The Flash, iZombie and Daredevil, Sense8 is now my favourite new show of the 2014/15 TV season!

I had just, unintentionally, watched Jupiter Ascending before this and given how much I dislike that film, I was a bit skeptical about the new project by The Wachowskis.

Turns out… I didn’t need to worry at all!

From the very first episode I was hooked and it only got more addictive the closer I got to the end.

It ticks all the boxes; it has you on the edge of your seat, it’s funny, it’s sad, there’s action and there’s drama and it flows easilys with one and other.

The thing I love most about Sense8; the characters. All eight of them make the show and sure, I do have ones I’m not a big fan of (Will and Riley) but I’m still 100% attuned to their stories and there are ones that I love to watch; namely Sun and Lito.

Lito and Sun.
Lito and Sun.

Each character has their own group of supporting characters and some absolutely amazing scenery.

At first it seemed to me that we were going to see the same two interact with each other but as the series went on, we got different interactions between the Sensates and every one of them brings something different to the group.

I also liked that not every main character was in each episode; if they weren’t needed, they weren’t used which I liked so it didn’t ruin the stories by shoving the character in the scene unnecessarily.

The soundtrack is pretty awesome as well including Mad World by Gary Jules, would buy the soundtrack if one were ever released.

I love the hell of this show and there better be a second season!
