The award-winning animation franchise Ben 10 is returning to Cartoon Network, but not like you've ever seen it before!

Popular with both critics and fans alike, the hugely imaginative franchise has now given birth to four series spinoffs and three movies. Now, the creators of the original show are back for a reboot, set to re-introduce 10-year-old Ben Tennyson to new audiences and die-hard fans alike.

Rob Sorcher, Chief Content Officer at Cartoon Network, says:

We decided it was time to introduce Ben to a new generation of kids. Ben 10 has been an overwhelming success story across all media platforms, and we know kids around the world will be eager to see the reinvention of this beloved character.

Even though it's a reboot, expect to see some familiar alien faces and recurring characters pop up, as viewers are taken back thorough the adolescent hero's action-packed origin story, with Ben discovering the mysterious Omnitrix that introduces him to a whole new world of alien superpowers.

The Ben 10 reboot is set to premiere on Cartoon Network in fall 2016. Will you be watching?
