Veteran British actor Alan Rickman is well known for his deep and sonorous voice that made Professor Severus Snape even more intimidating than his withering facial expressions, but even he isn't immune to the powers of helium.
After appearing on the Jimmy Fallon show and taking issue with the 'Alan Rickman-off' that Fallon and Benedict Cumberbatch took part in, Rickman decided to concoct his own game that involved huffing balloons.
Although Fallon was given the initial indignity of speaking like a soprano chipmunk, Rickman followed shortly afterward proving that his rich tones are almost too full-bodied to be tamed by mere helium...almost.
As a massive Harry Potter fan, I was obviously wriggling with glee when the words that Alan Rickman said in his new found shrill pitch were all straight out of Hogwarts.
What a legend.
