Best: Vito Corleone - The Godfather

A man who doesn't spend time with his family can never be a REAL MAN

This guy was really a family man. A loving and caring father what makes easy to forget that this gangster can cut a horse's head and put it in someones bed. This father was a man who would do anything for his kids. Corleone as an italian man loves family and saying that nothing is more importat. I'm quoting Rolling Stones Magazine when they say that watching the love and affection in Marlon Brando's eyes as he talk with Al Pacino's (Michael Corleone) future corporate capo in the garden is inspiring. This man can be a very cruel boss, but hell who wouldn't love him as a father.

Worst: Jack Torrance - The Shining

Here's Johnny!

Drunk, evil and crazy is the least we can say about my favorite worst dad in a movie. I think Jack Nicholson did and amazing job as a murderer psychotic, alcoholic father in Stanley Kubrick's adaptation of Stephen King's novel. After watching that movie I was a scare of people with axes and snow-covered topiary mazes.I wonder how much money in therapy and pills after that event, Wendy (the mother) spend to fix the trauma on that little kid. All I can say is that I really love my father.

Best: Dr. Henry Jones - Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade

Hello, Junior.

Charming and lovely father, you can tell out of where "Indy" gets that sexy adventurer charm and of course the his fashion taste. That old man really can bother his boy but when Junior thinks he's lost his father he goes nuts. Also you can see that love son/dad when the younger Jones figures out he can use a passing pole to joust a Nazi off his motorcycle. This is a really nice pair that made me puke rainbows.

Worst: Darth Vader - Star Wars Trilogy

Luke Skywalker and Darth Vader.

I am your father...

"My father cut off my hand" is the best thing that Luke Skywalker can say about his not so loving father. This character is fascinating, when you remember young Anakin Skywalker brave and in love gets harder to believe he tries to kill his son, but not before getting mutilated and burned body as well as a dissapointing and sad end. Still we can't denied that Mr. Vader is a very powerful and smart man.

Best: John Winchester - Supernatural

Dean, Sam and John Winchester.

Helping people, haunting things, the family business.

This one is the greatest series dad ever. This man has trade his soul to save his boys, not mentioning his soul went to hell and bear several daily tortures for many hell year's. Handsome and a hero, John was a very caring father in his own particular way, maybe he needed Dean's help a little to much, but when times got hard, he has there to support his sons. Looking at him, you know why Sam and Dead got that badass good looking type. He taught them to well the family business and the value of family.

Worst: Dwight Hansen - This boy's life

I don't believe that crap, you know, I believe there is such a thing as a bad boy, bad clear through. It's gonna be my job to set you straight. That's right, to kill or cure. Kill or cure!

This man is a sadistic bastard, in this movie we watch a lot of screaming, violence and cruelty from De Niro. De Niro's stepdad made people look at him as a complete actor and we realize that he really knows how to lash out and destroy everyone around him. "He's one of the great domestic monsters of American moviemaking" according to Rolling Stones Magazine. This movie make any father look like a freakin' saint by comparison. I think this movie might be a classic and it's also a good excuse to see little Tobey Maguire and Leonardo DiCaprio.

Best: Rick Grimes - The Walking Dead

Rick, Carl and Judith (little Asskicker) Grimes.

I know what you did for me, for my baby. While I was working things out. Thank you.

Zombie apocalypse it's cool but having a badass as a leader in a zombie apocalypse it's almost impossible to beat. This character has been through so much but still this man does a lot much for his children. He never gave up even he lost his wife Lori, became father once again, got nearly crazy and earn a small Carl, annoying and sad.

This man is a fighter and a zombie killer, I can't wait to see what will happen on TWD next season.

Worst/Best: Eddard Stark - Game of Thrones

Ned and Arya Stark
Ned and Arya Stark
The man who passes the sentence should swing the sword.

First I must say that Sean Bean is an amazing actor and he really knows how to make this roles work just to well. I must say that Lord Stark might be the only best/worst dad in this list, but most of the bad it's what happened according to our own world's history. I mean people used to act like him with kids, it seems that Kings and Queens were more important than family. Still the man tried to protect their children, even Snow, the bastard. I can't say he was a very good father even when he was a loving parent but he was no good either. I must say that if I was under the Joffrey's rules, I would chose to get my head chopped off too.

Worst: Tywn Lannister - Game of Thrones

Tywn Lannister
Tywn Lannister
A lion doesn't concern himself with the opinion of a sheep.

Game of thrones second entry in this post and Lord Tywn of the House Lannister, is probably the most evil dad on the show. He's a brilliant military commander and a very successful man with successful children. But this man won't get the best father award. I thinkhe is lucky not to be hated by all her children. No spoilers, but I like did him in the show.

Best: Forrest Gump - Forrest Gump

Gumps.

My mama always said, ‘Life was like a box of chocolates. You never know what you’re gonna get.

I always loved this movie. I have always found this man very inspiring. And sadly I don't really have much to say about this besides to tell that he was a hero. I think there's no words to describe how strong he was to raise a kid on his own. I am happy to say that I'm glad this movie was made. Forrest is the best.
