Today, I am going to talk about my favorite S.H.I.E.L.D. agents that exist in the MCU. Also, I am going to predict the sides that they will be taking once Captain America: Civil War comes around. I really like them all the same, so they really won't be going into a particular order on how cool they are. So, without further or do, let's begin with....
I like Black Widow just because she's got really good fighting skills and she's awesome in every single movie she's in. We really didn't get to know her dark history that much, but in Avengers: Age of Ultron we learned just a little bit about it.
I think that she'll be on Captain America's side in Civil War, just because in Captain America: The Winter Soldier, we seen her and Captain maintaining a great friendship.
From nicknaming the Destroyer Gun "Bambino", to telling other agents "Don't touch Lola", Agent Coulson is another on of the coolest agents on the list. After I finished watching The Avengers, I had a feeling that Coulson wasn't gonna stay dead for long. Then, when the preview for Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. came out, I was simply amazed. He has really good fighting skills and uses them when handy.
I know that Coulson would never betray the man that he's admired his whole life, so he'll obviously be on Captain America's side.
Agent Fitz & Agent Simmons
Agent Fitz and Agent Simmons are the two agents that come in handy when dealing with something that deals with science. At the start of Season 1, I quickly loved these two characters, and were my absolute favorites for the rest of the season. They still are, of course, and I loved at the end of Season 2 they started expressing their feelings for each other. But, with Simmons getting sucked into the monolith, we'll see in Season 3 if those feelings are still there.
I think that Simmons will side with Iron Man, given the fact that after the mid-season break, we seen her hating on the people that were thought of as "monsters." However, I can't think of where Fitz would stand in this.
At the beginning of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., I wasn't really convinced with Skye. But, as time progressed she started to get cool. Season 2 comes and is getting even more cooler, then she gets her powers and is even greater than great! She is the first Inhuman S.H.I.E.L.D. agent. I liked the idea that she is the Daisy Johnson of the MCU and that she is also Inhuman. All we need now is her using the superhero name, which is Quake.
I think that she will side with Captain America, just for the simple fact that she doesn't want the so-called "secret" team she's working on to be publicly recognized. And I'm sure she'll be against working for the government and them monitoring her powers.
Agent 13 / Sharon Carter
Introduced in Captain America: The Winter Soldier is fellow S.H.I.E.L.D. agent Agent 13, or Sharon Carter, who happens to be Peggy Carter's niece. In the movie, I had thought that Sharon would be a new love interest for Captain, but that didn't happen at all. But, when she held Agent Rumlow (Crossbones) at gunpoint during the Hydra raid at the Triskelion, I totally thought she was badass like her dear Aunt Peggy.
I can guess that she would be on Stark's side, simply because she works for the CIA now, but given the relationship between Captain and her in the comics, she could be a spy for Captain's side and give them intel on everything that goes on.
Agent May was another character that I instantly came to like on the pilot episode on Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. In Season 1, we learned she was nicknamed "The Cavalry". We didn't know why, but late in Season 2, we learned why. We learned that in Bahrain, an Inhuman woman named Eva stole Terrigen crystals to give her daughter Anita, powers. It didn't end happy as she sadly killed Anita. This explains why she is so serious all the time.
Honestly, I can't really tell what side May would be on. I can only guess that she would be on Captain's side, because she would want to protect Skye. And May is her S.O. and that Skye would feel betrayed if May went on Tony's side.
I was super excited when I seen him in Thor. I was excited to see him in The Avengers also, but I was upset that he really didn't interact with the other Avengers until the end of the movie because he was mind-controlled by Loki. But, I was finally happy that Hawkeye's interaction with the Avengers changed in Avengers: Age of Ultron. There was one thing that I didn't see coming, though.
After the events of The Avengers, he got happily married to his wife Laura Barton, has two kids and a third on the way, who at the end of the movie is named Nathaniel Pietro Barton. This was a tribute to Quicksilver after he died protecting Hawkeye.
I can see him being on Captain's side, just because he doesn't want to be on Iron Man's side and is forced to fight his friend Natasha.
When I first heard GI Joe: Retaliation's Adrianne Palicki was appearing on Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. as Bobbi Morse, I was excited. She plays the character very good, and there were surprises throughout the episodes they showed her in. Like she was the ex-wife of Lance Hunter, and that she was in the so-called "New S.H.I.E.L.D." I was hoping that there would be something planned in the future for a potential romance with Hawkeye, but he's got someone already. And she's been back with Hunter. In Season 3 of S.H.I.E.L.D., I'd like for them to use the codename "Mockingbird".But maybe something will happen in the future to make the Hawkeye/ Mockingbird relationship become a real thing in the MCU.
With her, I really can't see where Bobbi will stand when Captain America 3: Civil War comes around. I may guess with Iron Man and the government.
Last seen in [The Avengers: Age Of Ultron](tag:293035) during the party scene, we thought we'd seen enough of her. Then during the Battle of Sokovia, we seen her in the Helicarrier helping Fury.
Obviously, we all know she'll side with Tony, cause he's her boss and she wouldn't want to go on the opposite side. So it'll be nice to see her again in [Captain America: Civil War](tag:994409).
We first got introduced to Peggy Carter in Captain America: The First Avenger as his love interest. She has been a favorite of mine from there. I like the idea that she had her own TV show too, and that she's had a few cameos during Season 2 of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. On Agent Carter, she proved to the men of the S.S.R. that just because she's a woman, doesn't mean she can't fight like one. She also helped Howard Stark form S.H.I.E.L.D. She's one of the many bad-ass women of the MCU, and I hope to see more of her if she appears in Ant-Man.
Played by Lucy Lawless (Xena: Warrior Princess), Agent Isabelle "Izzy" Hartley was an awesome character from the first time they showed her. I was sad that they had to kill her off during the pilot episode, after Carl Creel made the vehicle with her crash. But, in the episode "One Door Closes", she's shown in a flashback during the Fall of S.H.I.E.L.D. helping Bobbi, Mack, and Agent Gonzales escape an aircraft carrier that they're on.
