Horror fan? Then you've more than likely seen the remarkably frightening short film 'Lights Out' by director David F. Sandberg. The 2013 video was announced winner of the 'Best Short' at Bilbao Fantasy Film Festival in 2014, and David F. Sandberg was labelled as the best director in the 'bchorrorchallenge'.

The short that shocked even the hardiest of horror fans the world over is now coming to the big screen, with James Wan (Saw, Insidious, The Conjuring) set to produce. Eric A. Heisserer (The Thing, Final Destination 5) will be writing the screenplay for the feature length film.

Much like the short, the movie will be set around a mysterious supernatural entity which is attacking an innocent family, but can only be seen when the lights go out at night. Child actor Gabriel Bateman (Annabelle) is set to star.
