To help celebrate father's day let's take a look at the dad's that not only graced our television screens with laughter, but inspired us and helped mold us into the adults we are today. These men, who gave us hope and taught us tough life lessons with good morals and humor.
Ah Mr. Titus. Sure he's a little rough around the edges, and a stern man set in his ways. But what he showed us weekly was that deep down inside he was a loving father who just wanted to see his children succeed. Constantly giving his sons words of encouragement, and reminding them daily how proud he was of them helped set them and us in the right path.
Al Bundy- Married with children
A man of dignity and pride Al was a great role model not only for his kids, but the thousands who tuned in every week. Though a modest man who worked tirelessy in retail to provide for his family he also showed that you have to stand up for what you believe in, and that success comes to those who work hard for it.
Peter Griffin- Family guy
Mr. Griffin who has taken on many jobs to make sure his family was provided for efficiently, is also a fun loving man who saw the good in everything and everyone. He has taught us that no dream is to big, and that there are more ways then one to get what you want in life. And though juggling a job, a wife, and three kids can be hard, you still have to enjoy the little things in life.
Frank Gallagher- Shameless
And finally we have Frank. Here is a man of true inspiration. A man who shows us that having a job, a car, and even a house is nothing if you don't have family. Always thinking of his family first before himself, he also takes a step back and let's his kids grow on there own. But if he is ever needed in any way this father is never to far away, always there with a loving embrace.
I hope these TV Dads helped inspired you just as much as they did me. Remember to let your own father's know just how much they helped you and how grateful you are for them.
Happy Fathers day!
