[Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice](tag:711870) has kindly stepped aside to allow the hype of Suicide Squad to take center stage in social media and the internet's. But with the 2015 San Diego Comic-Con right around the corner and rumors that DC is planning on dominating the spotlight this could change quickly. So far we have seen next to nothing from the much anticipated Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice movie. Well nothing more than a fantastic teaser trailer.
Do you Bleed? You will!
"Tell me...Do you bleed? You will!" Fanboys across the world geeked out on that statement alone from Ben Affleck's Batman. Chris Terrio, Oscar screen writer for Argo and screen writer for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, gave us a lot as far as intriguing dialogue in this teaser trailer most notably from Lex Luthor who will be portrayed by Oscar nominated actor Jesse Eisenberg "Devils don't come from hell beneath us. They come from the sky." As rich as the dialogue was for the teaser trailer fanboys are hungry to see some action from the movie. Not just from Batman and Superman but also the other Justice League members that have been confirmed for the movie. The one Justice League member that has been getting as much marketing from Warner Bros. as Batman and Superman has been Wonder Woman.
As mentioned before it is rumored that Warner Bros./DC plans on dominating the spotlight at San Diego Comic Con in 2015. At the 2014 Comic-Con it can be argued that Gal Gadot's poster as Wonder Woman dominated social media as far as fan interest receiving close to 250,000 tweets on twitter which was by far the most tweets that any other comic character received concerning Comic-Con. It would only be smart of Warner Bros. to try to duplicate that type of response from the fans for a second consecutive year. It is almost certain that we will see a new Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice trailer at the 2015 San Diego Comic-Con and even more certain that we will see Wonder Woman in action in that trailer. The question is how will Zack Snyder, Man of Steel and Batman v Superman director, portray the Amazon Princess. There is a myth out that strong female comic book characters have never been seen on screen but Zack Snyder may have something to say about that. And if you don't believe what he is saying his video evidence is pretty convincing and should leave no doubt that he can do Wonder Woman justice (pun intended) on screen. Most recently in Man of Steel Zack Snyder wowed us with the female Kryptonian Faora-Ul.
Baddest girl from Krypton not named Kara Zor-El
Faora-Ul was definitely a bad girl. Zack certainly showed that he could make a strong female comic book character appear as one on the big screen. With Faora-Ul being just a notch below Superman in strength but a couple of notches above Superman in ability to fight with her military fighting styles Faora-Ul is definitely proof that Zack can give us a great Wonder Woman. And if that doesn't convince you then have a look at the strong female character in Sucker Punch that Zack was responsible for.
Babydoll vs Giant Samurai's
Babydoll definitely kicked butt the entire movie. One can't help but imagine Wonder Woman blocking the machine gun fire with her bracelets! Or Wonder Woman blocking the Omega Beams of Darkseid (possible main villain in Dawn of Justice?). Also, you can't help but think of a hand to hand Darkseid and Wonder Woman fight with the size of the Sumurai's in comparison to Babydoll.
Wonder Woman vs Darkseid
Darkseid seems to soon for the Batman v Superman movie but maybe in the Justice League movie? We will have to wait and see. But what we can see right now is that Zack Snyder definitely has a gift for making strong female characters if not as a director certainly as a producer as he did in [300: Rise of an Empire](tag:43660) with Artemisia with her swordsmanship.

Sword skills that Wonder Woman will likely show in Dawn of Justice. Very soon we will not have to imagine what Wonder Woman will look like or how she will be portrayed. San Diego Comic-Con is right around the corner and Zack has likely constructed a trailer that has Wonder Woman in it. But until then tell me how you feel about Zack and how he may portray Wonder Woman in Batman v Superman. Do you think Zack has the track history to give us the Wonder Woman we have been waiting for?
