Ex Machina and the British science fiction show Humans are not related in any way, but you wouldn't guess that by watching it. If you were like me you watched Ex Machina because critics couldn't stop raving about how great the movie is, how it makes you question the coming of the ominous a.i. that might one day help evolve humans beyond what we can imagine or destroy us all. There isn't much middle ground there I just realized. When I watched Ex Machina I realize the critics were right that movie rocks, and its worth every penny to see this modern day masterpiece.

A Synth prostitute, Niska is not as submissive as she should be. Now doesn't that sound fun?

Now the British TV show humans goes in a similar direction as Ex Machina it brings multiple A.I. beings that are very similar to us humans with emotions and fears. The entire time while I watched the first 2 episodes I was wondering are these A.I. just simulating feelings or are they actually feeling what is like to be alive. One of any nerd's biggest concerns is morality what is right and wrong to a machine? This show will surprise you and leave you empathetic for our "synth" pals.

Remember that EX-Machina dance party? It was the best part of the movie. Its what I do all day when writing these post son!!!!!

Dance, Dance, Dance

Where EX-Machina leaves you wondering where things could go. Humans starts to answers some of those questions for you. It will show you how people adapt to have robotic synthetic humans everywhere. What will its effect be on our children? Our friends? Our lovers? If you liked Ex Machina I cannot recommend "Humans" enough it will captivate you in the first episode and by the 2nd you will be begging for more.

In the first 2 episodes that I saw. You meet Anita Shown above and all her synth buddies and learn their situation. Not too much back story into where they originally come where and what kind of personalities that they have but this is one of the reasons why you will be craving to watch way more than just one episode. You will meet a man and his complicated family, the synths on the run, and an old man just trying to live. Each story touching and filled with emotional implications of the synths being around. The first 2 episodes set up enough to keep it riveting but leaves enough mystery that I just want to see what happens next. That is enough of the story before I start giving away spoilers though.

For all of us Americans out there Humans will premiere on AMC on 06/28/2015 at 9/8c. Those people in central time get everything first well except this because I already watched the first 2 episodes. Take that states in the central time zone which I cannot name because I've never been outside of my corner of the country.

HUMANS premieres on AMC Sunday, June 28 at 9/8c and will be available the next day on VOD, amc.com, iTunes, Amazon, Google Play and Xbox. - See more Here
