It's time for another installment of "Underrated Horror Actors & Actresses". Some of these faces you may recognize from other film genres or projects and some may leave you scratching your head. Here are 10 more of horror's underrated. How many names will you recognize this time?

10. Bailee Madison

Bailee is the youngest member of this list. Even though she is only 15 years old, she has amassed quite the resume. Her acting skills far surpass someone of her age. Some of her most notable performances include Guillermo Del Torro's Don't Be Afraid of the Dark, R.L. Stine's The Haunting Hour, Adam Green's Holliston and most recently the new television series Good Witch.

9. Clifton Collins Jr

Most will recognize Clifton as Tack of The Stoned Age or perhaps Romeo of The Boondock Saints II: All Saints Day. He has had roles in films of every genre and has played about every character type there is with conviction and true talent. His very first role was actually in 1990 as Mickey in the "Interior Loft" episode of Freddy's Nightmares. Another of his other notable horror performances include, my personal favorite, Rampage: The Hillside Strangler Murders that was based on true events in which he played serial killer Kenneth Bianchi.

8. Misha Collins

I know a lot of you are asking why he's on this list, he's Castiel from Supernatural. Misha is on this list because unfortunately, many of his best film roles have gone overlooked. In 2006 he starred opposite Laura Prepon (yes, Donna from That 70's Show) in a filmed titled Karla about the real life husband and wife duo Paul Bernardo and Karla Homolka that kidnapped, sexually abused and murdered 3 young girls. The role of Paul Bernardo really allowed Collins to show just how dark he can go, and because of that, I feel that he has a real place in the horror and thriller genres.

7. Adam Green

Adam Green is most widely known for his writing and directorial skills, but he is also an actor. Adam had small roles in many of his films including the drunk guy in all 3 of the Hatchet films and Frozen. Green began seeing more screen time in his horror sitcom Holliston and his most recent film, Digging Up the Marrow. Most of Green's acting on Holliston is for the purpose of comedy, but he was required to go deep for a couple of scenes and he pulled it off beautifully. As a director, everybody knows his name, but as an actor, he is vastly underrated.

6. Laura Ortiz

Laura Ortiz has been in a wide array of films, commercials and TV shows. Many may remember her as the high pitched cheerleader from the T-Mobile commercial, but most will probably remember her as Ruby of The Hills Have Eyes reboot. She had an uncredited cameo in Hatchet II as one of the girls on the tape. She has gotten a bit more attention from horror fans since her role on Adam Green's Holliston. Recently, she had a cameo in the blockbuster hit, Guardians of the Galaxy. Laura can be found in the new series on the Nerdist YouTube Channel titled Real Housewives of Horror.

5. Jason Mewes

Yes, that Jason Mewes, better known as Jay from Kevin Smith's films. Although Mewes is best know as playing a goofy drug dealer, he is also well versed in horror films. He has been in films such as Bitten, Feast, Silent But Deadly, Zombie Hamlet and the TV series Todd and the Book of Pure Evil. His roles are still goofy in nature, but I see a bright future ahead in horror for Jason Mewes.

4. Corri English

Corri English is not only a talented actress, she's also quite the talented Country singer in a band called Brokedown Cadillac. She has played a variety of characters in horror films such as Unrest, House of Fears and most recently, she starred opposite Tyler Mane in the thriller, Devil May Call in which she played a blind suicide hotline operator. Adam Green fans will most likely recognize her as his love interest on Holliston. She is way too talented to be this underrated.

3. Renae Geerlings

Renae is the beautiful wife of Tyler Mane. She once worked for Top Cow Comics. She had a cameo as a police officer in Rob Zombie's Halloween II. Renae is finally receiving leading roles in films from Mane Entertainment (the company she runs with Tyler), she can be found in Compound Fracture and in the upcoming Penance Lane. I'm glad that she is finally getting the screen time that her talent deserves.

2. Sean Whalen

Sean Whalen is the definition of a "that guy". He is in practically every movie, television series or commercial, he was even the "Got Milk?" guy. Everyone knows his face. He unfortunately usually meets a very gruesome end in most of the horror films he is in, from everything to Fix-a-Flat in the ear in Laid To Rest to a defibrillator to the head in Hatchet III. Most horror fans know him as Roach from the film The People Under the Stairs. Did you catch his cameo in Rob Zombie's Halloween II? No matter what the role requires, Whalen always brings his A game not matter how big or small the role.

He is also quite funny, this is Sean in "Dorothy- 50 Years Later"

1. Tyler Mane

Tyler Mane

From pro-wrestler to homicidal maniac (don't worry, it's only on screen....I hope), Tyler Mane is a a big man that boasts and even bigger talent (get your minds out of the gutter). He has played everything from an X-Men villain to Michael Myers in Rob Zombies Halloween and Halloween II and still he is not getting the attention he deserves. He now has his own production company, Mane Entertainment, and he now has the chance to show his range of talent. It's nice to see him as the hero type for once, but he is really good at killing people (on screen). He was fantastic in the thriller Devil May Call (you should really watch it if you haven't already). As previously mentioned, he is great in the good guy, hero roles like the one in Compound Fracture. He has a list of films coming up, one of which that will also star his wife Renae Geerlings, Penance Lane.
