So, I know I'm a little late on this, but I got really caught up in different things, was encouraged to try something new on here, and I have been attending a couple of high school graduations for my family and friends. So, it's been busy, as you can see.
But enough with me, Let's get to the reason you're all here. By the way, in a few days, I will be posting a similar post to this one, but it will be on DC characters. So, without further ado, I present to you: 5 times that we got good films based on Marvel characters!
Note: This is totally my opinion, so if you don't agree, please comment below and tell me why in a civil way. Please no bashing or hating another person's opinions. Also, the list is NOT in a particular order. With that said, I hope you enjoy the article!
5) The Incredible Hulk (2008)
I may get a lot of hate for this one, but I truly do think of "The Incredible Hulk" as a good film. It has good CGI, great acting, and a cool storyline. I mean, who didn't love it when Hulk yelled "Hulk SMASH!" for the first time? Then, Liv Tyler was great as Betty Ross, Edward Norton was a great Bruce Banner/Hulk, and William Hurt was great as General Thaddeus Thunderbolt Ross! The bad part is the villain, but we've grown used to Marvel giving us forgettable villains, haven't we?
4) Elektra (2005)
Wow! Everyone's going to hate me after this. Go ahead and rant for a minute ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Done? Good. Okay, so I actually enjoy this film. Sure, it's got some issues, but I can overlook some of them. In my opinion, Jennifer Garner was great as Elektra, and the rest of the cast was good. The action sequences were great, and the CGI was also great. So, when you comment and tell me I'm wrong, just remember what I said in its defense.
3) Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014)
I'm sure most, if not all, of you will agree with me on this one. The film is absolutely amazing! The acting is once again great. The action sequences were marvelous, and it was great to see Falcon for the first time in the MCU. This film is actually even my favorite film ever!
2) Marvel's The Avengers (2012)
This is the film that started it all! It brought together different heroes into the same universe and showed that a fully connected cinematic could work. It encouraged Sony, Universal Studios, and even DC that it could happen and work. But besides that, it has great acting, great action scenes, and great CGI. But fortunately, it wasn't CGI heavy like Age of Ultron was. I will say that it had some plot holes in it, but not many.
1) Iron Man (2008)
This film is pretty much perfect. RDJ brought us the perfect Tony Stark/Iron Man. I would even think that "Iron Man" is better than "Marvel's The Avengers"! This started it all! Without it, we never would have seen The Avengers on screen. So, all congrats to Iron Man!
There are so many more films I could include such as "Guardians of the Galaxy", "Captain America: The First Avenger", the Blade trilogy, "Days of Future Past", and many more. But that's all for now. I hope you enjoyed reading this! And remember, the DC list for great films comes in a few days(probably Thursday). Until next time, Goodbye and thanks for reading!!!
