Charisma Carpenter Joins The Cast of Scream Queens!
Charisma Carpenter will be joining Ryan Murphy’s TV domination with a role in his newest addition, Scream Queens.
Carpenter will play the mother of Ariana Grande’s character, known as Chanel #2 - a follower of Emma Roberts' character, Chanel Oberlin.
Scream Queens is the new series by Glee and American Horror Story creator, Ryan Murphy and takes place on a college campus that is rocked by a series of brutal murders.
Scream Queens stars one of the original scream queens, Jamie Lee Curtis (Halloween) along with a huge cast including Emma Roberts (American Horror Story), Skyler Samuels (The Duff), Lea Michele (Glee), Keke Palmer (Winx Club), Abigail Breslin (Zombieland), Ariana Grande (Victorious), Diego Boneta (Rock Of Ages), Glen Powell (The Expendables 3), Niecy Nash (Reno 911!), Nick Jonas (Kingdom), and Oliver Hudson (Rules Of Engagement).

Carpenter is best known for playing Cordelia Chase on Buffy The Vampire Slayer and Angel but her other TV credits include Veronica Mars, Sons of Anarchy, The Lying Game, Greek, and Supernatural as well as appearances in The Expendables 1 and 2.
No word yet on when Carpenter will make her first appearance or how many episodes she is set to star in.
So far, it had only been revealed that the show will premiere in September but star, Emma Roberts, revealed the premiere date on her Instagram account earlier today with a promotional image for the series.
Scream Queens is set to premiere on FOX Tuesday September 22.
