MILD SPOILERS for Elektra and Daredevil

Okay, before I start let's just clarify something. Elektra is set AFTER Daredevil. The synopsis reads: "Restored to life after sustaining mortal wounds in Daredevil, Elektra now lives only for death as the world's most lethal assassin..." . To fill in the holes a bit more, after she gets restored and hangs the braille necklace on the pole for Matt at the end of Daredevil, she leaves and trains more with Stick, the same man who trained Daredevil and she becomes a hired assassin.

Despite all the negative response this movie has gotten I really enjoyed this film. It was miles better than Daredevil. Jennifer Garner plays Elektra very well. Her outfit is very detailed and classic Elektra, as seen below.

Unlike Daredevil, the casting for this film was great! Jennifer was perfect as Elektra, I mean not only is she hot, but she can fight and has clearly had some martial arts training which makes the character more believable.

The film started at quite a slow pace but got to a very nice pace towards the middle and got my interest back. I think the only real downer in this film is that Ben Affleck was supposed to have a cameo as Matt Murdock. She is in bed sleeping and she has a dream of Matt appearing and telling her to come back and right before they kiss she wakes up. That scene was deleted for some reason, I think that would of really connected the two films together. However the film is still very good as a stand alone. There is a director's cut of the film on the other hand, which may contain that deleted scene but I haven't seen, but when I do, I shall review it.

I recommend buying Elektra. It is very enjoyable and a lot better than what I have heard.
