Well maybe I'm sort of late on this movie but guess what? I loved it and frankly it did Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson justice if i may say so myself. It even had me quoting Emma "You Left my daughter? If you're not already dead, I'm gonna f*cking kill you"... But unfortunately Daniel died so he had no way of ever receiving that darn voice mail. hey, I'm a sucker for movie quotes so surely i must get a free pass.. Now let me just get into why i actually liked this movie which made me had to watch it a second time. I like the story line even though some would say it was a little weak and had expected more from it, i was enjoying the movie without any form of expectations because for me that's what ruin good to OK movies. We expect too much, rather than just accepting the movie for what it is and what it actually portrays. Yes i do get the fact that most movies involving earthquakes tend to end one way but for some reason this movie brought a family who were apart and distant closer together maybe these are the underlying reasons why i love this movie. The Man was trying to save his daughter for crying out loud, surely we can appreciate the dangerous efforts.
