After just finally getting around to watching Zombieland all the way from start to finish, instead of just the Bill Murray scene, I've decided I need to type a bunch of stuff about zombies! Or as The Walking Dead calls them, anything but zombies.
I'm just as stoked as the next guy about Fear the Walking Dead, and I cannot WAIT to see who the crossover character might be.
Let's get started with the specualation!
Dr. Edwin Jenner
Almost typed Bruce between Edwin and Jenner....thanks alot, facebook timeline saturations.
This guy seems to be the popular choice, at least from the fellas I've spoken with. Maybe there was a lab in L.A. Maybe that lab got incinerated or overrun, and Edwin went on the run, too. Maybe he ended up in Atlanta, the poor guy. He lost everyone and everything at the lab, including his wife. Which takes me to candidate number 2.
Dr. Candace Jenner
Yep, Edwin's wife. She caught the virus, and had to be killed, but not after being tested on by her husband and others. We're not sure when she was infected, and then put down, but who knows? Maybe she was infected at the beginning in L.A. at a hot genius doctor convention, before they knew what an infection turned you into. Maybe she came back to Atlanta on one of the last flights before the world shut down, and they had to put her down a few days later. Maybe!
Hershel & Maggie
Maggie had barely known Glenn when she found him in the condom aisle during their first supply run together. Did that stop her from jumping his Korean butt? Heck no! Was that desperation, or was it her wild side? If it was her wild side, tell me something...where to wild country girls when they want to be...um...wild? L.A.! Or a rodeo. But maybe Maggie went to L.A. to show her daddy she could make it on her own. Maybe she wanted to star in a movie. And maybe he flew out there to get her when she called him from a payphone on the outskirts of Skid Row.
Probably not, but that Maggie/Glenn condom scene was too good not to reminisce about.
All we know about her pre-zombieland past is that after she graduated from college, she worked as a clerk at a law firm. She was on a road trip with her sister Amy when the outbreak happened, where they met Dale and The RV That Shall Never Die. Maybe that law firm was in L.A.? Maybe, just MAYBE, she was the ex-wife of Travis (Cliff Curtis), the star of FTWD, and the mother of their teenager. She has pretty bad luck with men, too. so yeah there's that. The timelines and ages probably don't match up at all, but who cares? I'm writing about TWD and FTWD, and it's fun!
My last theory is...
Wait for it...
CARL FREAKIN GRIMES!
Because that little idgit will NOT stay in the house, and one time, maybe, just MAYBE, he went WAY out of the house and ended up in L.A.
