[Batman: Arkham Knight](tag:2683936) is the final installment in the [Batman: Arkham Series](tag:2586475), and could possibly be the last Batman game for a while. But that doesn't mean we have to wait for the caped crusader to return before we get enjoy another award winning superhero game like Arkham Asylum, Arkham City, and so on.
Keep in mind that the games I mention below are games I think should be in the Arkham series look, and play style.
Video game lovers have already gotten a taste of Catwoman's awesomeness in a few missions on Batman: Arkham City. And in those few missions alone we realized Catwoman is almost as awesome to play with as Batman is! What that means is she needs her own video game, as soon as possible. Her series could easily break off from the Arkham series and have a story of its own. Just as long as the creators keep it in the same style and look as the Arkham games, it should work out just fine.
5. Green Arrow
Green Arrow is the next hero that deserves an Arkham styled video game. Just come up with an interesting story, or even use one that's already been established. Green Arrow is definitely the closest on this list to the caped crusader and we would see a lot of parallels between his game and Batman's. The fighting, the gadgets, the impossible odds set against him, and even the dirty beaten up look Batman has at the end of his games would all be inflicted on Green Arrow as well.
You see that picture above? That is exactly the type of Deadpool we would need in a game similar to Batman's. The same type of game-play the Arkham games have is the same type of game-play the Deadpool games need to have. And perhaps an even better type of fighting system. In the Batman games he goes from bad guy to bad guy in a very fluid like manner, and that could work well with Deadpool. Except instead of breaking bones he'll be cutting off limbs.
3. The Punisher
The Punisher would definitely make a great game to play. Like the others this list he needs to have a fighting system just like Batman's. Not meaning the Punisher needs to fight like Batman, but to allow the player to take on enemy's in the same interactive form as we do in the Arkham games, only with more blood, guns, and knives. How great would it be to take down a drug lord as the Punisher himself? Incorporated with the right type of stealth, fighting, and executions, it would have the potential to win game of the year for sure.
Spider-Man games are already good when they want to be, but adding in the style of the Arkham series to what they've already established, they could end up with possibly the greatest superhero game ever. If they just incorporate some of the Arkham styled combat with Spiderman's fighting style, create a great story, give us a worthy villain, and maintain their swinging system then the next Spiderman game would be game of the year worthy for sure.
In Batman: Arkham Knight, a Superman game was heavily hinted at. So just in case Rocksteady happens to read this, here is how they need to make the next Superman game awesome. First, keep the same style and look as the Arkham games. Second, give us a good story. Players don't want to spend most of the game saving cats from trees, although that would make a great side mission. The third thing we want is free roam. Superman has super speed and flight, so take advantage of that and give us a map big enough for us to travel at super speeds in. As for the fighting, keep the same combat system, but give Superman villains worthy of fighting. Batman could take on the thugs but that's way to easy for Superman. Overall, if everything is up to par, a future Superman video game could wind up being one of the greatest ever.
