MTV is showing Teen Wolf all day Monday in anticipation of the Season 5 debut at 10pm. Before the big event, check out teenwolfnews.com’s list of 5 Things to Watch for in Season 5.

5. Werewolves on Skateboards

Some werewolves in Beacon Hills apparently prefer skateboards to lacrosse sticks in Season 5.

Actors and crew were on location in February in a quiet neighborhood in Winnetka, California filming scenes for the first block of episodes.

The location is a drained swimming pool described by the owner as an “oasis for skaters." The image above seems to feature new Teen Wolf werewolf Cody Christian (Theo Raeken) in the pool - the “humpbowl” as it is known to the locals.

4. Sh*t Storm

At least one episode of Teen Wolf Season 5 is going to stink to high heaven!

Cast and crew spent a memorable night in April filming at the Terminal Island Water Reclamation Plant in San Pedro, California. The complex is basically a series of pipes and tanks that take raw sewage from Los Angles, cleans it up, and then dumps it back into nature.

Teen Wolf crew members dubbed the location the "Poop Plant" and "Sh*t River." While we don't have any context for why the location was necessary or what it has to do with the plot, we did get a few decent behind the scenes images that show off the area they're using for the episode.

3. Party with Half-Naked Boys

A Teen Wolf club/party scene, filmed in March, featured lots of eye-candy .

Here we have Los Angeles Model/Actor Jared North and Brazilian acrobat/Cirque Du Soleil performer Gabriel Christo. We've still not identified the "trois" of this Ménage.

The same scene will mark the return of drag to Teen Wolf. You all remember Scott and Stiles’ night at the Jungle nightclub back in Season 2 which featured a number of Atlanta-based performers. Season 5 will feature an appearance by Ms. Cake Moss who is familiar to drag fans in Los Angeles.

2. Wild Animals

We’re accustomed to seeing wolves on the show but Season 5 will also feature another wild critter.

This cuddly bobcat was on set for filming back in February.

Filming for Season 5 also included the return of Romeo, the black wolf-dog seen previously on the show as Derek Hale’s evolved form.

1. New Creatures

In March, Teen Wolf cast 16-year-old Texan Michael Lynch to play the fan-designed Sluagh creature in at least on episode of Season 5.

Brooklyn-based artist and Teen Wolf fan Jessica Short designed the Sluagh (pronounced sloo-ah), a creature of Irish and Scottish myth that eats the souls of innocents and sometimes places parts of its rotten soul into the bodies of its sleeping victims.

Some of the filming with the Sluagh was done at the Eichen House location. The Mary Andrews Clark Memorial Home near downtown Los Angeles.

We'll also have to contend with this guy.

"Glowing Blue Longclaw" is apparently something the Dread Doctors cooked up in the lab.
