We got our first teaser for Danny Boyle's Steve Jobs Biopic just a couple of months ago and now a full trailer gives us our best look at Michael Fassbender as the title character.

I have been very excited for this project from the get go and that's because of Screenwriter Aaron Sorkin. He wrote such a magnificent script for David Fincher's The Social Network which rightfully won him an Academy Award. I'm hoping he brings a similar flavor to this story.

As many of you probably know this film was originally supposed to be directed by David Fincher (The Social Network, Gone Girl) and star Christian Bale (The Dark Knight). Through many changes including crew, cast and even studios we finally got our director in Danny Boyle (Sunshine, 127 Hours) and our star in Michael Fassbender (12 Years A Slave).

I was a big fan of the first teaser and this full trailer reaffirms my excitement for the biopic. What makes me so excited for the film is the structure of it. According to Aaron Sorkin who wrote the screenplay, the film plays out like three long scenes, each tracking the build up to three of Apple's most important press events; The Macintosh, the NeXT and the iMac. The structure of the film sounds unique and with a writer like Sorkin and a director like Danny Boyle, I can't wait to see how it's executed.

Most of you probably know that Steve Jobs was known for being a bit of a hot head and we see that in the trailer. We also get to see the difficult relationship he has with his daughter which will hopefully connect us more to the character of Jobs. Seth Rogen, Jeff Daniels and Kate Winslet also get screen time here also.

Michael Fassbender doesn't have a striking resemblance to Steve Jobs but the more I see of him in the role, the more I believe him as the character.

Steve Jobs opens October 9th 2015.
