I am a huge fan of DC Comics, DC Cinematic Universe, Ben Affleck, and all things DC.

Hi everyone, this is my first post here. As many of my friends know, I am a huge fan of DC Comics. For me, Batman vs Superman: Dawn Of Justice is going to be the biggest movie of 2016. With "spoilers" and fan theories arriving everyday, I have yet to find one that will answer the question as to what Wonder Woman is doing in Batman vs Superman.

What we know for sure is that Wonder Woman believes Superman to be a god, and thus is her tie in. But I have a different theory.

The Synopsis of BvS says

"Fearing the actions of a god - like Super Hero left unchecked, Gotham City's own formidable, forceful vigilante takes on Metropolis's most revered, modern-day savior, while the world wrestles with what sort of hero it really needs. And with Batman and Superman at war with one another, a new threat quickly arises, putting mankind in greater danger than it's ever known before.

Many people have thought that the "threat" coming to the world is Doomsday, the reincarnation of General Zod's dead body, used by Lex Luthor.

Others have believed that maybe the "threat" is that of Brainiac, setting up Justice League Part 1.

While both theories are compelling, and make logical sense, I have another one. What if the new threat is that of Wonder Woman?

To me it seems logical that one of the most overlooked characters of the film is that of one of the biggest. After the announcement that Wonder Woman was going to be in the film, many fans were questioning how big of a role she has. After the trailer for BvS dropped, many fans, myself included, were wondering where Wonder Woman was.

To the defense of the trailer, BvS showed the world a glimpse of what they wanted to see, Batman and Superman fighting.

My theory is that Wonder Woman is, in fact, the threat that is mentioned in the synopsis. What if Wonder Woman turns out to be the threat the "Justice League" fights in JL Part 1.

It could make sense that Wonder Woman could be upset that Superman would not go back to Themyscira with her, and through a misinterpretation of ideals, she could believe that all of mankind are not to be trusted and thus they should be eradicated. Thus Batman and Superman team up with Aquaman and Flash and form a team to fight Wonder Woman. Thus, the close of BvS is the JL about to fight Wonder Woman.

If this theory turns out to be true, which it may, it is logical to think Brainiac or Doomsday could be the villian revealed at the end of JL Part 1, and they are the villain for JL Part 2. Or maybe, just a long stretch here, but if Wonder Woman is at war with the incomplete Justice League, it could open up a huge hole for Darkseid.

Like with all theories, this is just speculation. Could DC introduce Wonder Woman as a threat? Let me know what you think. Thanks!
